+ The apartment is conveniently located—within walking distance of the Old Town and very easy to reach by bus or tram from downtown Bilbao. The living room and the master bedroom are bright and cozy, and there are two small balconies overlooking a quiet street. The second bedroom is dark, has no real window, and overlooks a shaft. The hostess was very kind; she gave us information about everything we were interested in and provided us with two sets of keys, since our group had overlapping schedules.

Safe parking, and excellent location for sightseeing.

+ The location was perfect for sightseeing. We walked everywhere from it, with the old town only being a couple of streets away, (although busses and trams were available.) The car parking was very secure. One review said the access and stairs were narrow, but it is just a first floor apartment like any other I know. It was tastefully furnished and decorated, & everything we could think of was supplied. It is a very old building, and had some quirky features. But you are in a Spanish neighbourhood, with locals who live and work there. Our host was very nice and helpful, providing maps and a personal list of her own recommendations. She met us at the property, and actually got it ready early for us, and let us stay in the parking longer. This may not always be possible, but it really helped us, as we had arrived early morning from the ferry. She was so friendly.

+ Une petite merveille que cet appartement, idéalement placé dans la vieille ville et néanmoins prêt de tout: grand, propre et très fonctionnel. On se sent vraiment comme à la maison. De plus, Marta est une hôte fantastique, toujours prête à repondre et à conseiller avec une extraordinaire gentillesse. Une achesse que l'on conseille les yeux formés et où nous retournerons avec un immense plaisir.

Ideal para visitar Bilbao

+ Calentito y céntrico. Marta estuvo atenta en todo momento, incluso nos dejó el desayuno y una tarjeta transporte para movernos por Bilbao. Tener parking también era una ventaja para esa zona.

Great place to stay in Bilbao

+ The place was super cosy and the perfect size for my mother and I. The location is amazing for access to the old town. The beds are comfortable and linen lovely to sleep in. The kitchen is well equipped to cook in Marta was exceptional with communication and clear instructions. I would not hesitate to stay again should I be lucky enough to return to Bilbao

Good location, comfortable modern apartment

+ Comfortable and nicely decorated little apartment. The apartment is on the first floor up two flights of stairs. There is a small kitchen which was well equipped for a short stay and a sitting area with comfortable sofa and dining table. The bathroom is small - fine for us but if you are a larger person it might be a little tight. Beds were comfortable - plenty of cupboard space. Marta was a fantastic host - speaks excellent English, met us at the parking (easy to access and very secure), helped with luggage and guided us to the apartment.

Perfect for what we needed

+ This accomodation had everything we needed - kitchen facilities, Tv, breakfast items, and enough room to be comfortable. But best of all was Marta who kept in contact with us when we had questions. She was so helpful and offered advice on restaurants, shopping, etc and kindly allowed us to leave our luggage in a secure area until we were leaving for the airport later in the day. We could hear a lot of whistling when we arrived in the lane, and could even hear it from the balcony. After some confusion, we realised that it was someones bird on the other side of an open window. It was entertaining to hear this very human sounding bird engaging with the sounds of its surroundings each time we would return to our accomodation!

− This is a good location for getting around. However, its difficult if you have suitcases (just keep that in mind), as you have to get them up the lane and also up the stairs. The lane is a bit grungy looking but seems to be safe as far as we experienced.

+ The location is very convenient. It is nearby the Old town. A tram stop is in 50m from the apartment. The apartment was very clean. It is well equipped with all the facilities you may need for a short stay of 5 days or longer. The temperature inside was perfect. Hot water every time we needed. The neighborhood was quite , thus easy for us to sleep. Our host, Marta, is kind , helpful, easy accesible to reach her, willing to help in everything. She met us on our arrival for delivering us the keys and welcoming us. Thank you Marta! I definetely recommend this property for visiting Bilbao.

Excellent apartment for a short stay in Bilbao.

+ We were treated very well on arrival by our host, Marta, who showed us the location of the garage where to keep our car during our stay, then proceed to take us to the apartment and show us around. The apartment is very cozy and clean, with two bedrooms with enough closet space for all of us. There is a well furnished kitchen; we were even treated to some beers in the fridge, and breakfast items! We highly recommend this apartment for location, size, furnishings, cleanliness and comfort.

Very comfortable apartment with every thing we needed, in a great location.

+ We stayed in March and the apartment was very comfortable, it had everything we needed and the pastries were a nice touch. There were spices, coffee, etc ready for us to use. The hosts were very friendly and informative and guided us to the best places to visit and where to eat. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the location was ideal. It was easy to walk to the major attractions and shops and restaurants.

− It was good to have a secure parking space, but it was a bit tight. We couldn't work out the numbering system so it took a couple of phone calls to meet up with our host, who was very understanding and helpful.

Bilbao brilliance

+ The apartment was so comfortable, well-equipped and in a wonderful location. Steps away from a tram station, plaza, bars and shops, but in a quieter neighbourhood. Getting around Bilbao from the apartment, whether by foot or public transport is a breeze. The apartment has double glazed windows and roller shutters, which for lighter sleepers is an absolute joy. Beds are very comfortable and good quality linen is used. Marta's attention to the little details and extras really do make you feel very welcome that you start to daydream about living there permanently! :) Bilbao is a great town, and will definitely be coming back to see and explore more, hopefully from Marta's apartment if it's not already booked.

+ We liked everything about Botxito! The location was great, only a short walk from the center, the flat was very well taken care of, very clean, very cute and friendly in its design. Marta, our host, was also very very nice! She is hospitable, and kind, and helpful. If we ever return to Bilbao, we'll definitely stay there again! Thank you, Marta!!
