+ I stayed at the GF Victoria for a week with family. The hotel is situated close to the beach and is a short walk to restaurants, bars, & other amenities. The hotel is excellent. Modern in design, well laid out with 2 excellent family pool areas & is kept extremely clean. It also has a small water park & other sporting options such as paddle, table tennis, & a surfing pool to name a few. Every single member of staff was friendly and took the time to greet you in meeting. The pool side staff & sky bar staff were excellent and attentive. And the maid did a fantastic job cleaning our room. As we arrived we were welcomed by Nico. Very friendly and escorted us straight to reception. Our room wasn't quite ready but we were offered a room to get changed in so we could use the pools if we wished. The booking in was efficient but provided my only slight negative of our stay. Having stayed in many 5* establishments it is nice to be greeted with a welcome drink as part of the check-in procedure. Here however, there was a brief mention of the fact you could attend the bar and you would receive one. It felt as if they couldn't be bothered & that they'd of had a result if we didn't claim it. That said we did accept the gesture and had a nice cold drink after our journey. If only they provided it immediately upon arrival I wouldn't have had any negative at all. We stayed B&B. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Even English bacon & sausage on offer as well as local cuisine. Smoothies, fresh fruit, and array of juices, cereal, toasties, and an excellent egg station. There were always sunbeds available & towels available for use throughout the day. The rooms are on the small side but very comfortable. We had a room with 2 bathrooms which was brilliant so our 15 year old had her own time and space to get ready to go out of an evening. We ate out each night so cannot comment on any of the restaurants available within the hotel. We were however nicely surprised by the pool

+ Decent hotel, nice big suite style rooms with separate lounge and an extra bathroom, which works well if you are sharing with your kids, or like to put all your kids in one room and don’t want to squash them.
Very large maze like layout which I didn’t mind. Breakfast was large and reasonably good with no queueing. Pool areas huge and while the upper pool tended to be busier we didn’t have an issue getting beds, but preferred the lower pool which is slightly quieter. There is a big mall right across the road with a couple of restaurants for lunch and a supermarket. Entertainment was typical eclectic Tenerife after dinner shows and we also went across the road to the hotel opposite to watch their entertainment and have drinks which was fun too. Didn’t eat dinner in hotel so can’t comment- always walked down the coast.
Two minor faults. Firstly turn down service actually happening was slightly hit and miss which seemed odd given we didn’t go out particularly late for dinner. Also they have a real standing water problem around their upper pool. Literally deep puddles from early in the morning which you actually would have to walk round if you were wearing shoes. This makes no sense to me, because firstly it’s just a bit grim and lowers the tone of it, and secondly it’s actually dangerous if someone was to slip over. They have a load of lifeguard/security types round the pool who were very happy to spend all day blowing whistles at kids taking their inflatables to the wrong pool but no resource to pay someone to sweep/squeegee the water into a drain a couple of times a day. I really don’t understand why they don’t sort this. Also no handrail on the steep stairs between pools, even with the steps often wet with kids going up and down. Such a bizarre safety miss even for the canaries- what’s it going to cost to sort these things out, literally nothing for a large resort hotel.
Anyway overall had a great time and would recommend.

+ Excellent hotel, perfectly located to nearby shops and beach. Hotel was immaculately clean and staff couldn’t do enough for you and were always approachable.
Nice touch with the turn down service, delivering water and chocolates each evening and preparing the rooms for bedtime.
Only piece of feedback would be to consider bottle refill station. The price of water in the hotel is quite expensive. There is a supermarket opposite in the downstairs of the shopping mall which sells 1.5litre bottles for less a euro.
Overall a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel to families and couples. Thank you GF Victoria, we will return in the future!

+ A well run, exceptionally clean and all round excellent family hotel. Our kids (ages 5 and 4) loved the kids club and had to be dragged away most days! Lucia and all the girls there do a fantastic job. Breakfast is very good with plenty of choice. The pools never seem too crowded, despite it being high season. The room (senior suite) is lovely but could do with more storage (a small issue). In terms of location, it’s close to lots of nice restaurants. We mostly ate outside of the hotel for dinner.

8,0joewM6775RCEn familia · ago 2026Amazing, but used to be better...
+ This is our 4th year at the hotel and in the main it is fantastic. The rooms are incredible. The facilities are great and the staff are all lovely albeit you don't make the relationships with them that you do in other places. However, that is due to the size and scale of the hotel.
So what has prevented me from rating it 5*. Well firstly, the entertainment is a bit rubbish. It's not on for long and it's never the best. This is a minor inconvenience as some people won't even bother with it, but I've had better at worse hotels.
Secondly though, and most importantly, there used to be a very stringent policy on not reserving sunbeds. This was a major reason for us rebooking. I am not one for sunbed wars. And those of you who will go down to the pool at 6am to reserve a spot have a special place in my hell. For the first couple of years, you could see staff going round, collecting towels (all provided by the hotel) off unused sunbeds. Meaning there was never a shortage. However the last couple of years, this is no longer done and it can be a nightmare to get a sunbed at any of the pools if you're not there early. Considering signage around the pool still states there is no reserving of sunbeds, it's frustrating that this is no longer enforced.
Other than this, there are some signs of age, particularly around the "slides pool' but that didn't negatively affect my experience.

10,0676stefsEn familia · ago 2026We had a lovely stay, would recommend.
+ This is a lovely hotel, and we would definitely visit again.
A friend recommended this hotel to us, and it certainly lived up to our expectations. I was a little concerned about visiting during the school summer holidays, but there was no sense of chaos. There were always plenty of sunbeds available, and the hotel manages busy periods exceptionally well. With so many different areas for guests to enjoy, it never felt overcrowded or detracted from our stay.
The location is excellent, set in an upmarket area with lovely shops and restaurants right on the doorstep. The beach is also just a 5–10 minute walk away.
The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay.
The facilities are fantastic. Our daughter especially loved the surf pool and made the most of it almost every day. The entertainment team were excellent, with plenty of activities on offer throughout the day for those who wanted to join in. There was also a mini disco and evening shows every night, which were a great addition for families.
The food and service were both of a consistently high standard. We chose to eat at the hotel for most of our stay, particularly enjoying the relaxed atmosphere of the poolside restaurant in the evenings.
My only minor criticism would be the lobby bar. The décor and furniture feel a little dated and have more of a conference lounge feel than a welcoming hotel bar, which perhaps explains why it was usually quite empty. We were travelling with two children, so we didn’t make use of the rooftop bar, but the lobby bar area is a lovely, bright space and would have been nice to enjoy a pre-dinner drink there if it had more of a vibe.
Would recommend!

+ We recently stayed here with our autistic daughter, and it was one of the most supportive and comfortable hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The hotel is on the pricier side, but the cost reflects the luxury, the amenities, and the consistently high standard of service. For us, the value was undeniable.
The hotel layout is ideal for children who need quieter spaces to regulate. There are calm areas throughout, and our room was incredibly spacious, giving our daughter plenty of room to relax in comfort whenever she needed downtime. The quality of the furnishings, cleanliness, and daily service was noticeably higher‑end.
She absolutely loved the kids’ club. The staff were amazing with her—patient, understanding, and genuinely engaging. She enjoyed it so much she wanted to go every single day, which has never happened anywhere else we’ve stayed. Their care and attentiveness felt far above standard family‑hotel service.
We didn’t choose half board because we like exploring local restaurants, and having the flexibility to eat outside the buffet works best for our daughter. However, we did try the buffet one evening and the choice was outstanding—plenty of variety and great quality. We also ate at the hotel’s à la carte restaurant by the pool, which was lovely: quiet, relaxing, and perfect for a calmer meal.
I’ve seen some reviews mention noise, but during our two‑week stay there were only two weddings, and both finished their music by 10pm. If it were every night it might be an issue, but it absolutely wasn’t our experience.
The breakfast buffet can be busy, but that’s expected in a luxury family hotel. We asked to sit in quieter areas, and staff were always accommodating. The food was very good, especially for picky eaters—our daughter found all her usual home comforts.
The activities are fantastic and all included: mini golf, tennis, ping pong, football, basketball, water slides, and varied daily entertainment. The gym is modern and well equipped, and the pools are heat

+ We traveled middle June as a family off 7 it my Father in law’s 80th birthday gift.
The moment we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by the concierge who brought us to the reception. When we walked into the Hotel we were greeted by reception staff who were very welcoming.
We were shown our rooms which were overlooking the Entertainment area. They had a lovely package waiting for us off chocolates & fresh water. The room was exceptional and had everything you needed.
Breakfast selection was excellent. Staff were helpful if you needed looking after if you had allergies.
The pool on the 2nd floor had enough sun beds for everyone throughout the day. You could get towels every day at the pool station just return them when you’re finished. Kids loved the different activities at the pool the staff did a great service. The sea salt pool down below the main pool was perfect.
The 5th Floor where the slides and other activities were great kept kids busy. There is activities at the hotel to enjoy ie paddle board, table tennis & much more.
The Adults bar & pool is on a different level highly recommended.
There is so much variety with this hotel and everyone that works at the hotel did a fantastic job in making sure guests are made feel like they’re at home.
We are looking forward to returning to this amazing Hotel.

+ We stayed at GF Victoria during the first week of the summer holidays, and what surprised us most was just how quiet and well organised everything was. Having travelled during school holidays before, I was expecting the usual battle for sunbeds, but there simply wasn’t one.
The pool areas don’t open until 9:30am, and although some people would put their towels down before heading off for breakfast, there were still plenty of sunbeds, umbrellas and tables available throughout the day. Even at lunchtime, when the main family pool was at its busiest, there were always beds available. One afternoon we went up to the water park on the fifth floor after lunch and were pleasantly surprised to find there were still plenty of sunbeds there too. It was so refreshing not to have to stress about finding somewhere to sit every day.
The food was excellent with a huge amount of variety. The buffet changed theme each evening, and there were always fresh pasta dishes, freshly cooked meats and plenty of options for everyone. Breakfast was outstanding with so much choice. My boys absolutely loved the freshly made pancakes and waffles with unlimited Nutella! There were also chefs cooking omelettes and fried eggs to order, which was a lovely touch.
Our room was spotless and was cleaned every morning without fail. In other hotels we’ve stayed in, housekeeping has sometimes been late in the day or occasionally missed altogether, so this was really appreciated. The housekeeping staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, happily bringing anything extra we needed. Fresh bottled water was replenished every evening, and there was always more than enough for the three of us.
The location is excellent. I’d read a few reviews mentioning concerns about security because the hotel is open to the street, but honestly, I didn’t find this to be an issue at all. Reception was always well staffed, and the hotel is situated in a lovely, upmarket area opposite a high-end shopping centre, so we always

+ We had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it, especially for families.
The hotel is modern, very clean, and well maintained throughout. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed. The food was very good, with plenty of choice and consistently good quality.
The pool areas were spotless, with comfortable sun loungers and plenty of towels available. The adults-only Sky Bar was a lovely addition, offering great views, an infinity pool, and a relaxing atmosphere away from the busier areas.
The staff were friendly, polite, and always happy to help.
There was plenty to keep the children entertained throughout the day, with foam parties, inflatable pool slides, and water games. The hotel also catered for every age group with baby, mini, maxi, and teen clubs.
The aquatic park was another highlight, featuring a couple of water slides, a splash area, a tennis court, a climbing area, mini golf, a multi-sports court, and even a surf pool. There really is something for everyone – you couldn’t ask for much more.
We didn’t get the chance to try the BioSpa or the à la carte restaurant, but based on the rest of the hotel, I’m sure they would have been just as impressive.
Overall, I honestly couldn’t fault the hotel. It exceeded our expectations and made for a brilliant holiday. We would definitely return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

+ Brilliant stay, lots of positives
1) the pools do not open until 930, meaning I can have breakfast with my family instead of needing to reserve sun beds as with other resorts
2) Gluten free is very good, everyday a fresh dish was prepared for my wife out back to remove the cross contamination risk. There is also a GF area with pre packaged items to choose from, the pastries per my wife were very good
3) The restaurant staff were awesome, my youngest has ARFID which means he only eats a few selected items so we bring our own food, one thing he does eat is strawberries so without asking the waiting staff would bring him a fresh bowl of strawberries. Nothing was too much trouble and they genuinely wanted to make the stay great.
4) I cannot remember his name, but there is a chap who lived in Windsor for 10 years so his English is awesome, he took great care to explain the process for allergies, there is a separate kitchen with controlled access for only chefs to control any allergy orders, never seen this before, it’s class
5) Waterpark was brilliant
6) Room was good, clean and a good size
7) Entertainment was good, we had the carnival on our last night which was perfect

+ We stayed at this hotel for a family holiday, the facilities for children are great however the rooms were a big let down. There wasn’t much space in the room itself, the bathroom quality and cleanliness was very poor, the shower didn’t drain properly, the fans didn’t work, there were ants, beds were very uncomfortable and flimsy. It just didn’t feel like 5*.
The balcony was a decent size.
In the restaurant (and everywhere else but reception) the staffs English was very poor and we quite often struggled to communicate.
I was particularly annoyed that there was no water bottle refill stations anywhere as it felt very wasteful buying plastic water bottles all the time. (A small one by the pool will set you back 3.5€ plus tip!)
The kids did enjoy the entertainment, slides and family pool. I think there was a lot more on offer for them that we didn’t even use.
The food was alright for a buffet a little repetitive but that’s expected.
Location wise it’s very convenient close to shops and can walk to the beach.
All in all it wasn’t a terrible stay but we also won’t be coming back.

Spa- so relaxing! I couldn’t believe there wasn’t anyone else in there.
Food options in the buffet as always fantastic, we tried room service which was just as good and ate by the solarium pool at least 3 times which was great.
Cocktails and beer perfect, the barman by the pool; I think is Miguel? Was efficient and always happy to have a chat with my husband.
Teen club excellent too, we enjoyed pool and air hockey as well as some board games.
This is the first time we tried the roof top terrace; a real treat. Excellent service and different drinks to try. Will be back next year for sure!!

+ This was our sixth or possibly seventh stay at this hotel and we find it hard to see past it, albeit we have had great holidays elsewhere over the years. The hotel continues to provide a high quality experience and we loved our stay here this time as much as every other time. Our daughter would stay here every year if she could
The rooms are all suites and a great size with two bathrooms, both fully stocked with full size bottles of Rituals products so no need to take shampoo, conditioner, shower gel. Great for families having the two bathrooms. The rooms are cleaned to a high standard, there is tons of wardrobe, bedroom and bathroom storage. One of the cupboards has a small kitchen sink, microwave, Nespresso machine, fridge and kettle concealed behind it with glasses and cups. The balconies are huge and either have garden or pool views with ample space.
Always a lot going on in the hotel entertainment wise with plenty to do during the day, but it is not shoved in your face like other hotels with animation teams. We skipped the evening entertainment the past couple of years as felt we had seen it all before and, having been to some amazing hotels in Turkey in the past couple of years and seen the evening entertainment shows in those hotels, the GF falls down on this front.
Most of the staff are friendly although, with the exception of Tomas and the female bar staff at the solarium pool, the other bar staff down at that pool are a bit sullen and not particularly friendly. Isn't a big deal though
The only other thing I would recommend that needs to be sorted are the televisions. They are very temperamental and not just this year, we have found this in previous years too. Only one of the TVs in our room worked which wasn't an issue for us as we rarely used them other than to watch the odd World Cup match (the rest we watched down in the main hotel) but they should all work without issue and this seems to be a persistent issue as I have noted other

+ We broke the budget this year to stay at the GF Victoria (bed and breakfast, the lower level of suite) and we are very glad we did. It is the best hotel we have stayed at outside of the UK. It is a short walk to countless restaurants and supermarkets, however at night it was extremely quiet and peaceful.
The rooms were a good size, set up as we requested, and spotless. The daily cleaning service was such a luxury for a mum on holiday!
The staff are without exception really lovely, making the experience really special for everyone. Please pass on extra thanks to all the team from us, because they really do make the hotel a truly lovely place to stay.
The teen room was a great place for our older boys to safely have a little independence while the toddler and pre-schooler in our party attended the mini-disco every night!
Breakfast was out of this world for choice and cleanliness. Sometimes buffets can get a bit rushed and scruffy but it always felt calm, tidy and well stocked whatever time we turned up.
The pool areas were fantastic, I think being earlier than the UK school holidays helped as we never struggled for somewhere to sit, and the fresh towels every day on the poolside were another luxury touch I really enjoyed. The kids loved the slides, and the lifeguard at the top of the slides little jokes also made them smile. A big shout out to that staff member, so sorry I didn’t get his name.
We managed to get an hour in the adult only roof top bar which was also fantastic, the service was so friendly and the view was beautiful at sunset.
We had an hour in the family spa, which was a nice way to enjoy the spa experience with kids without spoiling a peaceful atmosphere for the other adults, a really great idea to have this on a resort!
The entertainment was generally good, we don’t normally attend evening entertainment abroad but we ended up staying on after the mini disco. The band Gotra were very good at getting the crowd going, and the double act acrobats fro
6,0RachelD98🇵🇴 PO · En familia · jul 2026Would not recommend this hotel
+ I stayed here for 10 days with my family, including our two young children, and unfortunately I would not recommend this hotel. It is extremely overpriced and, in our opinion, does not meet the standards of a five-star hotel.
We decided to pay extra for the luxury this hotel promised, but regretted the decision almost as soon as we arrived. This was our fifth trip to Tenerife in recent years, and this was by far the most disappointing hotel we've stayed in.
One of our first concerns was security. Anyone can walk in and out of the hotel, and there are no interior locks on the bedroom doors, meaning our toddler could easily open the door and wander out.
As we visited in November, the entertainment appeared to have been significantly reduced. There were no outdoor evening shows, and the entertainment in the main bar usually finished by around 8:30pm. It would make much more sense for the live music to begin after dinner rather than during it. The indoor shows were underwhelming, and there was very little space for the children's mini disco. The children's play area was also disappointing, with several ride-on cars broken and unusable, and parts of the mini golf course in need of repair. These seem like relatively inexpensive issues that should be addressed.
The pool areas themselves are attractive, but the layout is very inconvenient. The main swimming pool is on the second floor, while the children's splash park and slides are on the fifth floor, making it difficult for families to use both areas. There is also very little space to relax around the children's pool, which is directly overlooked by a busy road. The second-floor pool area frequently flooded, and throughout the day we never saw anyone clean or clear the standing water.
The rooms are spacious but are in desperate need of modernisation. During our stay, the wardrobe door suddenly detached and fell onto my husband's forehead and shoulder, leaving him with a painful lump and headache for several days. He

+ We have had a fantastic experience here.
We travelled as a family of 2 adults and 1 child (aged 10). We stayed in a senior suite, and found having the extra bit of space and 2 bathrooms so useful. I had seen previously some issues with insects and using the TV; our room was very clean, with cleaners in throughout the day, and we had no issues with insects. There is a guide in both sections of the room for how to use the remotes for the TVs.
We stayed in room 246 which was perfect for us. It is on the 2nd floor of the hotel, facing onto the family pool with a garden terrace. Again, I had seen some reviews mentioning the garden rooms being dark; this was not the case for us. The garden is in shade until later in the afternoon but has lovely sun in the evening. The room did not feel at all dark.
Staff, in the Maxi club and throughout the hotel, have been very attentive and so kind to my son. Maxi club staff learned his name quickly and made a fuss of him at his last session. My son loved the chocolate fountain at dinner, and staff went out of their way to prepare a bowl of strawberries although they were not out with other fruit. Generally at dinner staff made a fuss of him, learning his name and letting him pick where to sit.
The slides and the surf pool were a big hit for us, as well as the treehouse. Lots of fun to be had!
We took walks down to the beaches in the evening - a really beautiful coastline with lots of nice shops/cafes to stop in at.
Thank you so much for an amazing stay!

+ Myself and family are not long back from a week long stay in this hotel and to say it was horrendous is an extreme understatement. My family and I do Tenerife every year and have stayed in some 4 star hotels that are much better, cleaner, & kept to a much higher standard than this hotel and they also weren’t bug infested unlike this supposed “5 star hotel”. When we arrived at this hotel, the first thing that I noticed was an overpowering musty/damp smell followed by how dirty the bed linen/sheets were, they had ink marks that were consistent with bed bug fecal marks and when we woke up the following morning I noticed rusty coloured spotting dotted all over the linen on each bed, again consistent with bedbugs. Upon further inspection we then noticed every corner of the room was infested with termites and their larvae, they were eating away at all the wood in the room which as a result was rotting and falling away, not exactly giving 5 star hotel. We also noticed these termites had made their way into my baby’s suitcase - you should be able to leave your suitcase in your hotel room without it becoming infested. We called reception and asked to be moved to another room naively believing it was just an isolated incident and not all rooms would be infested, oh how was I wrong. The second room, just as bad. Every part of the floor crawling, every corner hundreds of them. Which tells me either the rooms aren’t being cleaned to a high standard or that the infestation is that bad even when cleaning these are still EVERYWHERE. Again, we were moved. This time we were put in a harmony suite and at 4am I woke up to bedbugs crawling on the bed. Feeling disgusted I left the room and sat in the reception from 4am cold, upset and wanting this nightmare to end. My family and I then booked a flight home which we decided to cancel due to jet2 pointing out the fact our luggage would need treated and out of fear of bringing these home, as well as not wanting to ruin our kids holiday we
