Chateau De La Chevre D Or

+ Spectacular property with unbelievable views, and exceptional 5 star service!

+ It was an amazing experience.

+ Unfortunately we did not have the best stay here. We stayed for 2 nights and were "upgraded" to some kinda suite. There is no central AC, we were left with 2 low powered AC units in the middle of summer. It was so uncomfortable to sleep. We asked for a fan that is how uncomfortable it was. The property is pretty outdated, you had to use a phone to call and get any kinda service by the pool. The location is super unique and perched on top of a hill which gives you the most beautiful views of the water but its definitely worth the day trip but not worth the stay in my opinion. The restaurants are also super overrated. Maybe it will be different when they go through the remodel.

+ We had a fabulous time at the Chateau De La Chèvre D ‘Or. We had a beautiful, luxurious room which overlooked the Mediterranean coastline to one side and beautiful hills on the other. The staff were very welcoming and assisted us with any inquiries we had concerning the area. Highly recommend, we hope to return one day. ❤️❤️

+ The property has a breathtaking view, beautiful gardens, and a spacious, comfortable, very clean room. The staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful. I recommend comfortable walking shoes for the cobblestones. The hotel is pricey, but worth the splurge. I recommend breakfast outside the hotel due to the price. We really loved our stay in Eze. Don’t miss the Exotic Garden!

+ Excellent must see so you can experience what we did very nice place I’ve been to lots of 5 stars hotels but nothing compares to this hotel.

+ This is a stunning property and hotel however the service and staff were incredibly disappointing. My husband and I stayed for an evening during our honeymoon. We asked for a restaurant recommendation in a specific area and were sent in the complete opпозite direction and the place was closed. We also came back later in the evening and there were no signs anywhere to find our room and no staff available. The hotel is beautifully built like a labarynth but it took us an hour to find our room because someone had closed the door to the corridor where it was located so it was almost imпозsible to find. We shared our troubles in the morning and the concierge said nothing and did nothing to make our stay more enjoyable. Again, beautiful spot but I would recommend looking elsewhere for the price and if you want proper service. Super disappointing!

+ This place is an amazing treat. Spectacular and Unique as built into high part of cliffs facing the Mediterranean. If can do, this is place to splurge on your trip!

+ We couldn’t think of a better place to celebrate our 20th Anniversary. Eze is a natural beauty, the staff was amazing and the food was as beautiful as it was delicious. Thank you for such a wonderful stay as we will cherish these memories for years to come.

+ A hotel within a castle Very unique and with great views

+ Wow is all I can say. The views are the best of any hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Jaw dropping to say the least. Staring out at billionaires bay, with all the super yachts all over. Place is a must see.

Oh dear!

+ The food was terrible and overpriced even for the Cote d’Azur. The accommodations extremely dated. I had not stayed there for 25 years and the rooms have not changed. The staff did their very best but they are not organized at all. They also appear rely on day trippers taking photographs and there is zero dress code a great shame for what used to be an icon.

+ Service above and beyond expectations

+ The views are spectacular and there is something special about being in Eze without all the crowds. The staff was lovely and restaurant sublime. The pools were much smaller (and colder!) than I imagined and the pool restroom needed some attention. An iconic property to visit once in a lifetime for a night or two.

+ Great location and friendly staff. It is disappointing that the room service menu is very poor and not updated to reflect what is actually available and especially what is available from 10pm, which is more like what you get in a 3 star hotel. This is in stark contrast to what they offer in the restaurants at the same time ( one of them has 2 Michelin Stars). They knew I was gluten free but there was nothing appetising to eat on the menus or at breakfast. Room service brought normal bread each time even when they knew. The larger expensive suites are probably not occupied a lot as there is a stale water smell in the bathroom. The one you get when pipes are not run enough. The showers were not hot either. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told here was nobody available and they had gone home...I had to email the CEO and even then nothing was resolved I was just told he would talk to me in the morning (when I will have likely left) . I would say a perfect dreamy place to stay in a normal room or basic suite so long as you don't expect too much food veriety on the room service menu and enjoy the restaurants instead. The mini bar is lacking in typical drinks and snacks you would expect in a top end 5 star hotel and they should leave more water in the suite each day. The massage treatments we had were great although we had to walk through a busy restaurant to go to and from the treatment rooms which is not ideal.

+ Loved it! This is the place to stay!! Be ready to do a lot of walking in this village.

+ What did we like? Everything! This was our third trip to Èze, but the first time we allowed ourselves the time to soak it in. The Chèvre d’Or is magical. The accommodations were lovely and so different- unlike many places with cookie-cutter rooms. The views were beyond compare. The staff met our every need in multiple languages. We enjoyed the pools, the terrace breakfast, the village, the shops, the art, the views from every corner as our family explored the magical village and gardens. One family member whispered “I didn’t know places like this exist.” I imagine not many do. Château de la Chèvre d’Or was a dream. Already planning to return.

+ Undoubtedly in the top 10 hotels in France. Breathtaking location and views. Amazing rooms and friendly staff, not to mention a 2 star Michelin guide restaurant… What else to wish for ?
