− Les toilettes et salle de bain dans le couloir. Je ne l’ai pas vu dans l’annonce. On avait des peignoirs à disposition alors ça allait et c’était privé.

+ We loved the peace and quiet, the homemade sugar-free ice cream, the beautiful courtyard, the convenient parking, and the incredibly friendly staff. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Everything was spotless and beautifully organized, and the whole place had such a warm, homely atmosphere. We could go on and on – it truly felt like a home away from home!

overall good stay

+ the garden was nice, the room and bathrooms were very clean, good location (close to the beach), safe area and quiet. Parking spaces were available around the facility. Easily accessible to restaurants and shops. Angelica was very responsive and organized, we got beach towels and umbrella upon request.

− bathroom outside the room and camera in the hallway, which was not very comfortable. No food and drinks allowed in the rooms (except water). No cooking area in the kitchen (only quick sandwiches). Towels and bedsheets are not changed during the stay.

+ Angelica y Zilton nos han hecho sentir como en casa. Todo muy limpio y organizado para huéspedes. El jardín permite unos desayunos increíbles. La casa decoradora con mucha personalidad por sus dueños.

+ Loved the building and grounds, super clean and well appointed. Very helpful management. Comfortable bed. We had a lovely stay.

− No coffee or drinks in room. While they have a small kitchen and sitting room, it’s nice to enjoy coffee in your room in the morning.

The most wonderful stay!

+ The house is so great! There is everything yoy might need like extras beach towel and umrellas. Owners are very sweet and made sure I had a great stay. As a solo traveller I felt very safe in the house.

+ Lovely comfortable room, with a balcony view of the garden. Unique art on the walls Spacious bathroom with a bench to put stuff down on.

+ Beautiful grand house, full of beauty and character. Good location. Lovely kitchen and gym. Complimentary tea, coffee and water. Everything perfect. Would highly recommend. Hosts friendly. €15-€18 in taxi from airport using bolt. 30min walk to beach or 5mins in taxi( €4). Stunning bedrooms and bathrooms. Quiet/ peaceful location. Lovely gardens.

Unfortunately it was not a good choice for us.

− We booked three rooms and one had the bathroom outside in the passage and we were not advised. Also there was no breakfast and if you wanted to have coffee or have anything to eat, you had to wash whatever you used. I don’t go on holidays to wash plates. Also they did not make up the room or changed towels. Once we requested a room on suite for one of the members in our party they complied. We were late to come back to the hotel and the hostess was messaging complaining that it was already after 8:00 pm. We arrive at 9:00. The location was not good at all unless if you have to be in that residential area or be working in somewhere close.

+ It was perfect for my needs. Visited girlfriend studying at NOVA. Close to train, close to supermarket, close to park… perfect location. It is never crowded in March, so very convenient and comfortable.

Perfect room managed by the perfect hosts

+ The hosts are soooo welcoming and sweet, we truly felt at home since the moment we arrived. Everything was perfect, from the check-in explanations to the ease of getting in and out of the house, parking easily nearby, the room was absolutely pristine and beautifully decorated. The hosts are very thoughtful and everything is maintained to perfection. Also the AC worked like a charm in winter, it warmed up the room in about 2 minutes. We had a wonderful stay and would love to return to make use of the garden in summer! Obrigado aos dois. :)

Host was very disappointing

− After reading the previous reviews, I expected a super friendly host. However, to be honest, even though we are in our 40s, we were treated like kids. Even if you see welcome water and snacks, you will be reprimanded for eating in the room you have paid for. The lady had a problem with everything and yelled at us. Under the pretext of changing towels, she walked into our room and then screamed about our mess (we were in a rush prepared for a marathon ) and even at our friends for closing the doors too loudly. After we said we didn't want her to sneak into our room, she replied that she wanted us to leave earlier than we had paid for and not to talk to her again during our stay. And all of this was over a few dishes in the room we paid for. I was absolutely surprised by her unprofessional behavior. Before we go out she asked when we planning to come back. Like we would need to explain our plans. I do not recommend this place. In overall the place is beautiful the lady a bit out of her mind.

Netter Aufenthalt für einen Strandurlaub oder als Alternative für Lissabon

+ Schönes großes Zimmer mit Balkon und separatem großen Bad. Zum Strand in Carcavelos geht man ca. 25 min und der Weg ist sicher und durch nette Wohngegend (mit Google-Maps geführt) Mit dem Auto ca. 7 min. Großer Garten für Aufenthalt. Unser Auto stand sicher hinter dem Haus (vor dem Tor). Mit Auto gibt es viele nette Frühstückmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Nach Lissabon kann man gut und günstig mit der Bahn fahren (ca. 25 min)

− Nachts hört man die Straße schon sehr laut (gelegentliche durchrasende Motorräder-hatten Zimmer zur Straße hin) Sehr viele Regeln, die zu beachten sind

+ Nice area, big garden and not too far from the beach and city center. Very clean house. Is also kitchen to use and coffee maker and more facilities. Higly reccomended.
