Nice and relaxing - ideal

+ The location was excellent, quiet and close to all amenities. Beach was in walking distance and local restaurants and supermarket which I only realised at the end of our stay. car park was perfect and in secure area. We had room 4 which had a balcony and was nice to sit outside of an evening. The bathroom was big and very accessible. For those with mobility issues it is perfect. The aircon was a great bonus. The bedroom was a good size bigger than what the photos depicted.

− We liked everything but the fridge does make a little noise during the night. Could do being placed in a integrated unit to drown it out. The wifi light is a either an annoyance or helpful when going to the bathroom…can’t have it all and really can’t find any major faults.

+ El enclave, en la marisma, en el subir y bajar de la marea, con las aves.el amanecer...Una belleza! También la atención amable de Susana, que preparó unos ricos y reconfortantes desayunos, que mantenia, tanto la habitación como el recinto, ordenados y limpios.

UN'OASI DI PACE FANTASTICA

+ Antico mulino in posizione fantastica, nel mezzo della riserva naturale dove si possono ammirare i fenicotteri rosa e tanti altri uccelli nella pace piu' assoluta. Struttura accogliente e pulita a pochi passi dal centro dii Fuzeta. Possibilita' di fare colazione alla carta in una saletta adiacente alle camere. Molto apprezzato l'ombrellone da spiaggia a disposizione nella camera.

Beautiful location but lack of staff

+ Lovely location, honestly absolutely amazing and beautiful.

− The property definitely needs to invest in more staff. Having a single team member responsible for checking in guests, housekeeping, and also serving guests at the bar and during breakfast is simply not sustainable. It was clear that the poor lady was doing her absolute best, but she was constantly running around trying to manage everything at once, which inevitably affected the overall guest experience. There is no justification for placing that level of pressure on one person. Better staffing levels would not only improve the service provided to guests but also create a fairer and more manageable working environment for the staff.

I would gladly come back.

+ Location was very picturesque. There were not many mosquitoes. Views were great. The room had a good ventilation.

− There were only 6 Portuguese TV channels on the TV. We arrived late to contact staff to change them to satellite TV.

+ Super Lage, Natur pur ! Nur wenige Gehminuten vom Strand und Zentrum entfernt. Supermarkt direkt um die Ecke. Super nettes und aufmerksames Personal ! Tägliche Reinigung. Vielen Dank wir kommen wieder.

Wonderful stay at Moinhos das Mares

+ We loved the unusual location and the fact that the building had been an old Mill that had been renovated (beautifully done). It was an easy walk into town and the beach plus we found some great restaurants and bars. We were well looked after by Suzanne who was running the breakfast and cleaning daily (our room was spotless).

− Nothing it was all perfect and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

+ This is one of the best stays i've ever had in Portugal. The location is absolutely fantastic, absolutely recommend going for a walk near sunset (sunrise was good, but sunset was better - saw flamingos). The hosts were fantastic, super responsive and gave so many recommendations.

Paz y comodidad...

+ El sitio es espectacular!! tranquilidad, ubicacion, amabilidad, limpieza....todo un 10! Habitacion de lujo, con camas grandes y magnificas. Es mas bonito el sitio que las fotos de la pagina. El molino esta en un estero repleto de vida y flamencos por el que puedes pasear. Puedes ir andando al barquito que te lleva a la playa de fuera, que es un paraiso, cerca de bares y super. En fin, para nosotros todo un descubrimiento, volveremos!!!

clean, intriguing, comfortable and romantic

+ It was a fascinating location being on the marsh lands right next to flamingos and crabs and all sorts of wild life. Their is a beautiful town and beach nearby which fills all your needs for a restful stay. The room is clean and the organisers are very friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone for a stop or a couple nights.

Tranquility ensured!!

+ Spent a relaxing 4 days in this sleepy town. Hotel a mere two minutes walk from train station which is a 20 minute train journey from Faro or 20 minutes to Tavaria. Surrounded by local restaurants and one of the best laundry self service Ive ever encountered. Room simple but spotless equipped with tea, coffee making facilities and a fridge. Excellent wifi coverage too. Important as I was present during the FIFA World Cup 2026 tournament! Breakfast is reasonably priced. And staff willing to make light conversation despite limited command of English.

− Not sure. Loved the tranquility and calmness of the place!!

It was a treat for my birthday and I was not disappointed

+ Location fabulous and beautiful building. Very friendly and helpful staff.

− Fridge intermittently made a loud noise. Fly screen to balcony did not stay closed so needs repair.

Fijne locatie in prachtig natuurgebied

+ De vriendelijkheid van de medewerkers, privé terrein om te parkeren achter een gesloten poort en het prachtige natuurgebied met flamingo’s in je achtertuin.

− Het is iets verouderd. Nieuw meubilair zou niet misstaan. Het bed lag overigens prima!
