+ This is a lovely hotel, in a beautiful, convenient location. We had a room on the street side, and it was a bit noisy all night. The room was great, otherwise. We had a little trouble getting in - there isn't an open lobby, and you had to ring the bell at the door to get in. Obvious to some, but not us!

+ Great location between the train station and the old town centre. Newly refurbished with comfortable rooms. Could have been more informative at check-in about having to book breakfast the night before.

A real boutique, boutique hotel

+ Had to find a night’s accommodation in Leon before an early train. The Colonial Palce was 10 minutes walk from the station, took my bags at 10am and put them in my room when available, checked me in then and when I got back at 7pm couldn’t be more helpful. I have poor Spanish but Eva had excellent English and was very clear about how to get out of the hotel early the next morning. This is a boutique hotel, with anbout 12 big rooms, and deserves that title. The room was very comfortable, the shower fabulous, the bed massive and the TV and hair dryer were high end. Sadly I had to leave before breakfast. All in all a whirlwind, but exceptionally pleasurable, stay. I would certainly come back.

+ This property is 10/10 for a reason. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel and you are made to feel special even if you stay for 1 night. I wish I had longer. I would highly recommend this property. The location is easy. I arrived by train and it was a short easy walk from the station. The hotel is so quiet and so peaceful. It’s just as easy to walk into the old town as it was from the station, to explore and wonder the cobbled streets. The bed is comfy. The room is spacious. A real gem of a hotel. The staff were so so helpful. Thank you all.

Best Hotel Deal in Leon - Walk to the train station, dining, shops...

+ This hotel is a hidden gem!! It does not look like a hotel, so don't walk by and miss it. It looks like small manor house in the middle of the city. We were touring northern Spain by train and this location is perfect, less than a 10 min walk from the train station. We never needed transportation when in Leon. The recent interior update is splendid -- a cross between old world charm and modern convenience. EVERYTHING was perfect for us in our standard king room. The photos you see are very accurate. Walking distance to the Cathedral and all dining & shopping. If you don't need the breakfast (it's optional), there is an excellent coffee shop / bakery right across the street called, "Café Valkiria." They open at 08:00AM with a complete breakfast menu (also lunch & early light dinner). We LOVED this hotel. Very nice staff, as well. You cannot beat it in Leon.

+ This a great small boutique hotel located 8 minutes walking to the train station and 5 minutes to the old town center with parks, museums and great restaurants. The room was the best one of our trip through 6 cities in Spain and Portugal.

+ The location is perfect - a short walk from the train station and right on the main shopping street. The staff were helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend and would stay there again.

+ We needed Google Maps to locate the iron door that serves as the hotel entrance. Once we found it and pushed the buzzer, check-in was very easy, and the staff was extremely friendly. However, there are steps leading up to the front desk, and there is no elevator. Fortunately, the front desk attendant assisted us with our luggage, so we didn't have to carry it up the 7 to 10 steps. The room was fantastic—definitely the first king bed we've had in Europe instead of two twin beds pushed together. The bathroom was very well-equipped with all the necessary items and then some for a comfortable hotel stay. The top-quality coffee and kettle in the room were great additions. The blackout curtains worked perfectly, providing a dark environment that was very helpful. Although we were on the first floor (second floor in some regions), we did experience some street muted noise and the sounds of people outside. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would definitely stay here again.

+ Beautifully renovated building. We will stay again as we absolutely will come back to Leon. Comfy bed and hypoallergenic pillows and they have Dyson hairdryers in the very high standard bathrooms. Shower had great power. Only comment I would have is the very strong scent used in the public/reception areas. Suggest to reduce this as it was way too much. I guess some people are ok with this so it’s just personal opinion

Caro para o que oferece.

+ Ficamos na suíte Júnior, enorme, porém precisando de atualização, com exceção do banheiro, que é muito bom. Além disso, faltam tomadas e o sistema de iluminação é confuso. Também não gostamos da cama, incompatível com o preço do hotel. Café da manhã caro (15 euros por pessoa). Boa localização e equipe gentil (destaque para Eva e Antônio).

+ Beautiful hotel in an excellent location. The smell in the entrance is amazing. The rooms are beautiful an super comfortable. The shower head is really good. We parked in a public parking that’s like 3 minutes walking. Everything is close. The bed and the pillows are very comfortable.
