Casa Maruca

Estancia muy relajante

+ Localización perfecta. Puedes pasarte el dia entre la terraza que tiene la casa y la zona de baño. La casa es cómoda y tienes acceso a restaurantes y supermercados muy cerca. El personal te atiende perfectamente y la casa está muy limpia. Por las noches duermes con el sonido del mar. Pese a no ser necesario en todo momento, dispones de aire acondicionado en salón y dormitorio principal. No puedo ponerle la máxima puntuación, por pequeñas cosas que son mejorables, pero repetiría la experiencia.

− El mobiliario es un poco antiguo. Puede mejorarse. Algún problemilla de mantenimiento, como la mampara del plato de la ducha. Las escaleras para subir a la planta alta, un poco peligrosas. Invirtiendo un poco en mejoras en la la casa, la puntuación subiría a 10.

− Muy poca luz en la cocina, el sillón viejo y hundido, las ventanas de la casa muy estropeadas y sucias mal aspecto

+ Spacious with good outdoor spaces, perfect location.

− Clothes drier to hang wet swimwear would have been useful.

Schönes Ferienhaus in bester Lage

+ ALLES! Die Lage ist wundervoll, direkt am Meer. Die Terrassen bieten einen super Blick. Obwohl das Casa direkt am "Dorfplatz" liegt, waren wir überrascht, wie ruhig es ist. Supermärkte und gute (!) Restaurants sind schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Ausstattung war für uns als Paar mehr als ausreichend. Es gibt 2 Bäder, eines mit Badewanne und eines mit Dusche. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was wir brauchten. Und Kathy vom Rok Team ist super nett. Wir haben uns jederzeit total wohl gefühlt!

− Nichts, wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben ;-).

Perfect getaway

+ We loved the house which was way better when what we figured by the booking description and photos. We enjoyed the beautiful view over the ocean from the terrace and the rooftop after a morning swim merely 20 meters from the house. Also we’d like to mention how very friendly Katie was meeting us at the house and showing us around.

+ Most everything at or above expectations, and especially the service.

− The bedrooms both have pretty hard mattresses, and the one we used lacked a window to enjoy the fantastic sea breeze in the spring.

Super friendly host, amazing location

+ Katy was super friendly and helpful, always makes such a difference being greeted by a human being rather than a lock box!! Also she let me know I had left behind a top and kept it for me. Super location, amazing views

− the electricity was a little wonky, but it was explained in an old house that maybe too many appliances on can trip the switches. It would not put me off coming and staying again, super spot lovely friendly reception

− i booked casa candelaria villa near beach, as i had stayed there in jan 2020, as recognised by booking.com,and enjoyed it very much.on arrival we were told we could not stay at the villa and were directed to a villa near by

Great house in a great location

+ House is in a great location in walking distance to bars, restaurants, supermarket etc and right on the beach. Alcala is a working town so and not just a resort. Its a large property, there were only two of us and loved all that space - it would be great for a family and had stair gates and buckets and spades. It was very well equipped, and the housekeeping team came daily which I found unusual for a self catering property. We loved having two terraces. Check in was easy.

− Be aware that there are two separate properties advertised on the page. I thought we had booked Casa Candelaria (where we had stayed previously and has the most amazing roof terrace) but it was a separate property across the road. Having said that we actually preferred this one because of the space and layout. Casa Candelaria is the house with the green shutters and is ‘near the beach’ whilst we ended up staying in the house ‘on the beach’ (White House with brown shutters) The electrics were slightly flaky and the oven sometimes tripped

Exceptional

+ The property was In a great location right next to the playa . The Plaza was busy but not annoyingly so . Lots of local restaurants serving fresh seafood. A wonderful slice of Tenerife! Clean , safe and friendly, I would recommend to anyone. Special thanks to Kathy for helping me retrieve my lost wallet!
