Great place in a good location

+ Breakfast was fantastic, so much choice and good value for money. Hotel pool was great and all the staff very helpful.

− Aire acondicionado , muy mala clitamatizacion en el último piso ( era axfisiante antes de entrar en la habitación ), y una vez dentro muy mal funcionamiento.

Great to mix some time in the town and time in a resort setting

− el gimnasio para ser un hotel de 4 estrellas es bastante pobre,faltarian mancuernas y bastantes accesorios aparte del mantenimiento de las maquinas.

Cher pour la prestation

+ Chambre agréable, spacieuse et propre. Serveurs de la piscine très serviables et gentils.

− Le fait de ne pas avoir eu un lit kig size comme demandé mais 2 lits simples collés. Les plateaux repas utilisés qui restent au sol des heures entières devant les portes. La clientèle très bruyante dans les couloirs (il faudrait des panneaux de rappel de respecter les autres clients). La piscine trop agitée par les enfants qui hurlent et plongent alors qu’il est noté que c’est interdit. Pas du même standing que le Melia de Valencia.

Stayed last month and our experience this time wasn’t as good! Monies removed from my card in error after I left😳

+ Most of the staff were very helpful and pleasant

− Cleaners never got to our room to clean until after 5pm some days which was when we wanted to relax in the room. Had to wait over an hour to get into my room after checking in at 3pm. A special birthday request had to be reminded 4 times before they did anything.

Perfect place to relax

+ The staff are very helpful, courteous and always smiling. It is very quiet, so perfect for relaxing. Lots of loungers in the swimming pool, but we went to the beach everyday. Food is very good too.

An upmarket hotel, but location is the issue

+ This is an upmarket hotel with pretty good facilities on the edge of the town. The room was good. Like the rest of the hotel, it was very clean and had a modern, streamlined look. Some might say it lacked character - it depends on your taste. Everything looked fresh and new as if it had just been constructed. The bed was also comfortable and the aircon worked well in the exceptional heat we had during our stay. Housekeeping was generally good but there were some glitches, like our Nespresso capsules not being replenished two days running. The balcony overlooked the marina and the sea view was good. I did pay extra for that. The pool area was okay, but did feel crowded in August. We didn’t do breakfast which was as usual a ridiculous price. We were quoted €24 each per day. You can buy a 3 course menu del dia in Sitges for that! We saved a three figure sum by simply having breakfast in town, usually at the 365 cafe/bakery. However on the plus side the hotel did give us free glasses for the eclipse. The main issue in summer is the walk to the town and back. It’s not far, a kilometre maybe - but it is exposed and the sun beats down on you mercilessly all the way. Sadly it’s not a nice flat walk by the sea either - it’s up and down all the way there. It would be fine in cooler weather but it is energy sapping in the heat of summer. Even at night we found the walk exhausting. Luckily a taxi is only about €8 - 11 each way using the meter. You may find yourself using them more often than you planned! Unfortunately the hotel is really too far out to be very convenient. If you don’t mind the taxi journeys then it’s not too much of a problem. Of course, if you visit outside the summer months it’s less of an issue. In all honesty we would not stay here again as we think proximity to the town’s attractions is more important. However it is a high standard of hotel and really only its location lets it down.
