+ Our hosts were so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious, including homemade yoghurt, jam and a new kind of cake each day. Parking was safe and locked at night. The property is very quiet, perfect for getting a great night's sleep.

+ Magnifique batisse au calme. Tres bon accueil, propre et bien entretenu. Piscine tres agréable et petit déjeuner excellent. Attention pas de clim mais un grand ventilo tres efficace.

+ Wonderful B&B with great host

+ This is an elegant country inn just 11 minutes from the Aix en Provence TGV train station which is actually outside the city area of Aix. It was such a convenient place for us to stay after a long day on the train from Barcelona and again the night before an early train leaving Provence. Our room was immaculately clean and spacious. The rooms are on the first floor so we had to carry bags up one flight of stairs. There was a king size be and also a twin bed in the room, along with a toilet room and a shower room with a vanity. We enjoyed a breakfast prepared by our host of homemade yogurts, breads, pastry, and jams. There was also a goat cheese spread, bananas and apples, orange juice and freshly made coffee. Our host was kind and welcoming. She also helped us with suggestions about what to see in the area, restaurants, and grocery shopping. The home and grounds are gorgeous including a terrace and large swimming pool (which we didn’t use as it was only springtime weather.) The only sounds we heard were birds when woke us gently at daybreak. It was a wise choice we made when we decided to stay at Bastide Tara!

+ What a lovely cottage in St. Remy!! We found our apartment clean, comfortable, and well-located. We felt like locals. The kitchen is well-furnished so we cooked a dinner; 2 fabulous supermarkets are in St.Remy. The lovely enclosed garden is delightful and always visible from the LR/kitchen making the living area light and bright. There is a washing machine. Parking is immediately in front of the front door so accessibility is so easy. Hosts live next door. They gave us complete privacy but were readily available if needed. Nothing is lacking in this darling residence. We would return without hesitation!

+ Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans la Bastide Tara. Les hôtes Ghislaine et Jean Luc nous ont très bien accueilli avec de très bonnes recommandations de lieux à visiter. Le petit déjeuner était très bon et copieux. Nous recommandons vivement cette bastide.

+ BEWARE! If you are looking for a funeral house with an uptight landlord , its a good option, otherwise AVOID at all cost

+ Séjour de 9 nuits dans le studio parfait ! Les hôtes sont très gentils et très arrangeants. Le studio est plutôt bien équipé, assez spacieux tout de même. L’emplacement est parfait, au calme, non loin de la ville ou des magasins

+ Accueil chaleureux et sincère. Le lieu est juste magnifique et la direction est au petit soin pour vous. A choisir je préfère revenir au prochain passage dans la région que dans un hôtel classique.

Going the extra mile

+ We had only booked an overnight stay in this lovely little hotel/ B & B. But in the morning when our hire car wouldn't start, the owners couldn't have been more helpful - making phone calls and translating for us. Thanks for all your help!

+ There was some confusion of when we were able to check in and no-one was there until 5 pm. and we found nowhere nearby that served food on Sunday evening. While the location was quite handy for the autoroute (that passes nearby) it was not very easy to find. Spacious accommodation.

Great Stay

+ Spent a night here in anticipation of going to the airport. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

+ The hosts Ghislaine and Jean Luc were amazing! The property is Cabriès near Marseille. I proposed to my fiancé at a restaurant nearby. The hosts took photos of us in their amazing backyard equipped with a pool and elegant patio. The Shepard Collie “Kim” is very friendly and adorable. This provential home has a feel old country French!. Definitely would stay there again.

Marvelous & Cozy small inn in Provence!

+ La Bastide Tara est un lieu d'exception où il fait bon s'arrêter pour se ressourcer. Les hôtes m’ont accueillie avec le sourire et se sont montrés d’une grande disponibilité tout au long de mon séjour. J’ai particulièrement apprécié prendre mes petits-déjeuners en leur compagnie, ils étaient l'occasion de vivre un moment de gourmandise et de partage très appréciable. Le jardin est magnifique et superbement entretenu, la terrasse est calme et joliment fleurie, les chambres sont très propres, la décoration du lieu est pensée toute en finesse, le parking privé fermé est grand et pratique pour manoeuvrer. L’environnement est idéal pour qui souhaite se ressourcer dans un cadre d’exception, très bien situé et facilement accessible, tout à la fois à la campagne avec de magnifiques endroits à visiter, mais également non loin de la ville (Aix-En-Provence, Marseille) et de ses centres commerciaux, par exemple (Plan de Campagne). Si vous recherchez un lieu paisible, magnifique et tenu par des hôtes charmants, je ne peux que conseiller un arrêt à la Bastide Tara.

+ Un très bon accueil, la chambre grise que nous avons occupée est spacieuse, propre avec une belle vue sur la piscine et le très beau jardin. Emplacement stratégique proche de l'ARENA (où nous sommes allés voir un concert a 10min de route), du vieux port de Marseille, du centyre de Aix. Rien a redire
