We stapten in de poort en voelde precies of we in de hemel terecht kwamen.

+ Het ontbijt was echt enorm goed verzorgd en heerlijk vers. De gastvrouw en gastheer deden alles om het zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken en het ontbijt was echt heel uitgebreid en gezond. Hier ga ik zeker meer komen.

− De omgeving was voor mij zelf niet zo aantrekkelijk omdat er veel huizen staan die wel aan renovatie toe zijn en dat je toch een eindje dient te rijden (al is dat relatief). Je vind in de omgeving ook niet direct iets om te eten op maandag dus met de auto even verder rijden en dan vindt je echt wel heerlijke lunch en diner.

A corner of the Paradise on Earth

+ Evi and Sammy are incredibly attentive and kind hosts, they do far more for the comfort of their guests than normal. For instance we asked if we could have a microwave and they gave us theirs. The rooms are amazing, comfortable and very private. The gardens are magic and full of green and art (lot of the beautiful ceramics made by Evi). The swimming pool is just perfect. Breakfast was delicious. It is dog friendly place and Zino (the owners' dog) and ours became good friends. The house is in a picturesque town among the hills and you will find so many places to visit nearby. We will definitely come back!

+ We hadden de library kamer; een zeer ruime kamer met een goed 2-persoonsbed, een tafel met vier stoelen en een tweezitsbank en televisie. Elke dag schone handdoeken. Het ontbijt was voortreffelijk! Iedere dag verse gebakken brood, een vers gesneden fruitsalade, een eiergerecht en iets lekkers. Het is er heerlijk rustig en diverse leuke plaatsjes op een half uur rijden.

The Very Best

+ 1. Evi the owner and son Dan ,from minute one, were exceptional hosts who just made our stay one to remember for so many reasons…..too many to mention individually. The best way to describe how we felt I hope can be summed up by this . “ it felt like we were staying with good friends who we had known for years and company we really enjoyed” This year we have visited 12 countries so we are frequent travellers and I will happily say this was the best place we have stayed in , very probably ever ! This isn’t about the fluffiest pillows or softest towels there was just something that captured our hearts on an emotional level . There was a sereness and tranquility . Thank you Evi for making our stay so wonderful. Thank you for your kindness and caring ….we will be back 😊

+ We loved our visit to Casa Orbeta. We were well looked after by Sammy and Evi, and really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful surroundings with lots of places to sit and sunbathe and the pool looked lovely, but we didn't go in as this was a work trip, so we only used it as a bed and breakfast. What a lovely breakfast it was, too. Different every day. So lovely. Great that the accommodation had mosquito protection at the windows - as they always bite me. Air con great, wifi great. Loved it!

Tranquil secret hideaway!

+ Tranquil quiet and calm retreat. Hosts Sammy & Evi are attentive and welcoming. Lovely range of breakfast treats and options. We had the garden suite which is private and roomy. Local Italian restaurant was great.

− Nothing except having to walk uphill to get back from local bars but only around 20/25 mins.

− Only one very small comment to make. Personally I would like to have an iron iron board in the room. This is only because I can’t pack a suitcase very well. I need to iron clothes when I arrive. This was provided on request, but might be good to have this facility in the room.

A delightful B&B with spacious rooms and warm welcome

+ A delightful place to stay with spacious rooms which come with comfortable bed and a seating area. Amenities include a fridge and Nespresso machine. The public areas were ample and spacious, breakfast was generous with great variety, also for vegetarians and gluten free. The warm welcome by Evi and Sammy was great, thanks guys!
