Good place to stay

+ Very friendly and helpful staff! We had a few issues during our stay which were resolved quickly. The place has a beautiful view and is well located if you drive.

− Leider hatten wir ein Kaltwasser Problem an der Dusche, wurde dann behoben. Aus dem Gulli roch es streng heraus.

+ Au calme dans un ecrin de verdure. Chambre très confortable et bien équipée. Belle terrasse et belle vue. Agréable pisicine. Très bon petit déjeuner avec du fait maison. Flexible sur notre arrivée plus tardive que prévue.

− La trascuratezza verso l'ospite che, nonostante l'ambiente affascinante, non viene coccolato ed accolto al meglio. Per fare un esempio, la piscina, molto bella, ma poco pulita. La colazione con prodotti da supermercato, tanto che le marmellate vengono servite nei vasetti del market. La pulizia approssimativa. È un gran peccato, perché la motivazione della creazione del posto è stupenda

− No facilities, no honesty bar, staff was not so kind, they were working in the hotel. The noise was disturbing

Merveilleux

+ Petit coin de paradis intime. Le personnel est souriant au petit soin avec vous. notre chambre était grande et super confortable avec petit frigo de quoi mettre des bouteilles au frais. Les équipements sont top. Nous avions pris avec le petit déjeuner qui est copieux. Et si vous partez tôt le matin avant l’heure du petit dej on vous propose de vous laisser la veille une box petit dej de quoi vous rassasiez après une bonne marche. La piscine et le spa sont top.

Lovely and unexpected piece of Bali in Madeira

+ A stunning Bali-style hotel with a beautiful garden, waterfall, swimming pool and jacuzzi. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. It was very unusual to have a bathtub on the veranda overlooking the sea and the mountains. It was nice to receive two bottles of water and fruits. The staff is very friendly and helpful, though sometimes you have to search for them around. Breakfast was good.

− The hotel has 8 or 10 rooms but parking is only for 4 cars, and one of the spaces was occupied by the builders. So you will likely have to park on the street next to the hotel. The number of sun loungers by the pool (6x2) is less than the number of guests. So, come either in the morning or in the afternoon. At 7am it was impossible to take shower because the water had two modes: cold or very cold. By 10am the hot water appeared. I received the invoice with my Portuguese tax number in almost a week after my stay. Also, it’s a pity that the upper part of the hotel territory is abandoned and closed

− Schimmel im Bad und im Whirlpool, Geruch, kaltes Wasser, kein Massageangebot, trotz Anpreisen, Sauberkeit Zimmer, Rezeption nur begrenze Öffnungszeiten, in welchen nicht konstant das Telefon besetzt ist/ jemand zu finden ist, Ablagen im Bad/ Dusche fehlen, Garten teils super schlecht gepflegt, Nachts Wege dunkel

+ Les espaces verts qui arborent les différents bâtiments de la propriété, les différentes vues de la propriété, très bon petit déjeuner.

Bel endroit agréable

+ Le cadre de l endroit est très agréable, la piscine à débordement est incroyable. La suite est très confortable, la literie impeccable.

− L insonorisation.

Nous sommes partis à Madère pour faire de la randonnée. Nous étions ravies de retrouver notre logement pour se détendre

+ Le confort dans un endroit insolite dans un cocon de verdure. Nous avons apprécié le calme , il y a très peu de chambres et nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous. La villa prestige est incroyable, belle salle de douche, douche extérieure, belle terrasse vue mer . Un bel espace avec tout le confort souhaité.

A place to rest

+ 3rd time here. A peaceful place and a good breakfast.

− Check in was a bit so and so. The young lady didn’t seem to know everything a person doing check-in should know.; E.g which key is for which door. Would have also been nice to have gotten some information about close by places to eat/ have dinner, without needing to go by car. Unfortunately the gardens were not as well kept as they used to be.

Fantastisch!

+ Enorm vriendelijk onthaal, super behulpzaam. Een droom locatie, ik zou hier zo opnieuw terug naartoe gaan. Ik raad deze accommodatie aan iedereen aan! Enorm onder de indruk!

Im Prinzip war alles soweit in Ordnung, aber für den Preis hatte ich mehr erwartet um ehrlich zu sein!

+ Der Infinity Pool

− Wir waren im neuen Gebäude untergebracht und mussten dadurch zuerst über eine Straße um in den eigentlichen Hotelbereich zu kommen. Die Anlage ist wenig gepflegt, es liegt überall Laub auch im poolbereich auf den liegen. Es macht alles irgendwie einen ungepflegten Eindruck. Unser Zimmer war nagelneu und sehr stylisch und modern eingerichtet! Aber halt eher unpraktisch gelöst alles. Klimaanlage sitzt mit Richtung zum Bett und kann nicht geregelt werden das die Kaltluft nicht direkt auf das Bett ziehlt. Von daher mussten wir die Klima nachts aus machen was natürlich nicht Sinn und Zweck des Ganzen ist. Kein Platz neben Waschbecken um hier die Badebeutel oder sonst Utensilien abzustellen. Der Balkon war eher minimalistisch gemacht, Breite ca. 1m und Länge ca. 3m. Das eigentlich Problem des Balkons ist die hohe Brüstung die zu hoch ist und mit Metallblechen fast komplett Blickdicht ist. Bedeutet wenn man auf den Stühlen sitzt schaut man gegen das Metallblech und nicht in die Landschaft wie es sein sollte! Wie gesagt Zimmer ist stylisch und neu und gut aber es wurde nicht über das praktikable nachgedacht!
