Hotel Alexander ★★★

Categorías

• Limpieza8,5

Multiple reviews repeatedly mention very clean rooms and bathrooms (''zimmer und bad top sauber'', ''habitación grande y muy limpia'', ''Zimmer sauber''); one note that the bathroom is old but clean, so overall cleanliness is strong.

• Servicio8,7

Staff repeatedly described as very pleasant and helpful (friendly reception and room service, ability to store luggage, helpful personnel), with only minor logistical complaints (luggage handling after checkout). Overall service is a clear positive.

• Ubicación9,0

Location is praised throughout (close to centre, near tram, short walk to the Tattoo and Basler Messe, excellent access to transport); location is a standout strength.

• Habitaciones7,8

Rooms are often described as comfortable and in many cases spacious with comfortable beds and AC, but several guests reported small or slightly old bathrooms and some compact rooms—mixed but generally acceptable.

• Instalaciones7,3

Amenities are mixed: parking garage available (for a fee) and AC/mobile coolers mentioned, but issues include a very small/poorly ventilated elevator, lack of some TV channels, and limited dietary options (gluten/lactose), producing a below-average score.

• Relación calidad-precio8,6

Multiple guests explicitly note good value and fair pricing (''Good value for money'', ''Sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis''), making this a strong point for the property.

• Comida y bebida6,6

Breakfast opinions are mixed: several positive mentions of good/adequate breakfasts, but repeated criticisms about limited choice, cheap-sounding products, hot/stuffy breakfast room, and limited fresh fruit or meat options lead to a notably lower score.

• Experiencia general8,3

Overall sentiment is positive — many guests report enjoyable stays, would return, and felt comfortable — tempered by recurring minor issues (small rooms, breakfast/amenity shortcomings).
