Peaceful location

+ We had excellent 2 weeks in the villa! Very welcoming host and superb location if you like quite and peaceful time for your holiday. Definitely will come again.

− The jacuzzi is a bit older and the controls don't work very well, it needs to be repaired or replaced.

+ De locatie tussen palmbomen en dennenbomen is geweldig. Grandioos uitzicht met fluitende kanaries en af en toe smorgen een patrijs of roofvogel bij de bergwand.. Goed berijdbaar, aan het einde van het dorp, rustige avonden. Temperatuur savonds was prima, even in de jacuzzi echt fijn. Het restaurant is niet beloopbaar vanuit huis en bovendien gesloten gedurende ons verblijf (verbouwing?). Strand, shopping en alle toeristische wensen op 20 minuten goed bereikbaar,. De plaatselijke stuwmeren is geen zwemwater en staan droog. Kritische noot: ik vond het onpersoonlijker dan gewend en menig apparaat was defect. Bij aankomst vinden we in andere huizen vaak een wijntje en wat fruit, dat voelt welkom. Hier zagen we dat niet, er was geen fles water, ofzo, en we misten ook andere praktische dingen zoals, suiker, olie of zout, schone sponsjes of afwasborstel, aardappelmesje etc. Dus eerst een flinke boodschap gedaan. Veel achtergelaten dus volgende gasten zijn voorzien.👍 Wasmachine deur moest met schroevendraaier open en de centrifuge veroorzaakte een plaatselijke lawine, dus geen 2e keer gebruikt. Droger zag er ook niet betrouwbaar uit dus niet geprobeerd. Plafondventilator in slaapkamer slingerde vervaarlijk dus ook uitgelaten. Koffieapparaat tbv espressocups lekte, dus theedoek ernaast en stekker na gebruik uit contact halen. Jacuzzi zelf uitgezocht hoe die aanging en geen schoonmaak in huis of van jacuzzi in 12 dagen gezien. Het bed was prima. evenals de bbq, oven, kookplaat en magnetron, koelkast en vriezer. Comfortabele zit en ligstoelen en eettafel in de overkapping. Huiskamer zag er ook netjes en comfortabel uit maar niet gebruikt. Het water in de douche was snel koud. Maar al met al wel een voldoende en de locatie maakt heel veel goed. inclusief het bezoek van de rode katten van de buren ❤️

Beautiful house, stunning location

+ We loved everything about this house from the minute we walked in. It is a beautiful house in a stunning location. The interior is really nicely decorated, and everything is of very good quality, which adds a luxurious feel. The kitchen is really well equipped, the sofa is comfortable, the beds are really comfortable, and both bedrooms are really large. The exterior is fab, exactly like in the pictures, and so peaceful. We loved the location, not too far to drive to the coast but surrounded by nature. We did a great hike right from the house up towards Tauro mountain. Also the drive going beyond the house is stunning (although full of hairpins, everyone drives slowly). Didn't make it to the restaurant really close to the house, but did go twice to the one on the main road just outside Veneguera, which I recommend. The village of Veneguera is also worth a visit. So overall a lot to see very close to the house. Would love to come back again next year!

Quiet get-away

+ The house is very clean and comfortable, furnished with lots of love and care. The covered patio with the sliding doors to the terrace is a great place to work, very light and airy. The box with snacks and the drinks in the fridge upon arrival were much appreciated. The house is a bit far from shops and restaurants (though there is one restaurant very close by, open during the day), but I brought supplies for a week.

− Nothing, except maybe that the sun only reaches the house around 11 am in wintertime, so the mornings tend to be a bit dark... I preferred the views outside of the terrace, facing south, looking down the valley, so I put a chair at the side of the house. That's also a good place to enjoy the late afternoon sun.

Exceptional

+ La Villa is a wonderful private villa that is perfect for those seeking peace and privacy. The villa is set in a beautiful location, surrounded by palm trees and offers a large parking area for guests. The villa itself is very well-equipped, with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. One of our favorite spots in the villa was the jacuzzi, which provided stunning views of the surrounding area. We also made use of the barbecue, which was a great addition to our dining experience. Although the villa is located in a private area, it is still conveniently located near Playa de Mogán, which is only a 15-minute drive away. Here, you can find plenty of restaurants, shops, and supermarkets, making it an excellent destination for those who want to explore the local area. The staff at La Villa were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they made sure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. On the last day of our stay, one of the staff members recommended to visit the bazaar in Playa del Mogán, which was a fantastic experience as the closing event of our stay. Overall, our stay at La Villa was fantastic, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable retreat. We look forward to returning to this lovely place in the future.

Great place if you want a quiet holiday

+ Great place, not too far from the beach, had everything we needed, including coffee, spices, kettle, coffee machine, fully equipped kitchen and many other. Jacuzzi and BBQ were really nice. Just make sure you get some mosquito tablets or spray, as we got back bombarded... But we still had an amazing holiday so 5* definitely well deserved, good value for money. Air conditioning is only available in the kitchen. While we stayed there, about 3 days the temperature was about 35 daytime, we struggled a bit to sleep as it was very hot in the rooms, but we slept next day on the beach :) There's a nice pizza local restaurant about 45 minutes of walking or 5 minutes driving towards Mogan, has a few options, but all with fresh ingredients.

− Mosquitoes, bugs and sometimes the smell of the toilet was too strong.

Delightful

+ The house was beautifully modernised, spacious, cool, comfortable and exceptionally well equipped. There was a pleasant sun terrace which received the sun from mid morning to late afternoon and a lovely garden room for eating in. The house is set on a quiet road, in a lush, sheltered and undeveloped barranco, surrounded by pines and palms. It is a short drive to lovely walks in the hills or to the coast.

− The jacuzzi needed a sun awning. The restaurant mentioned in the details is a mystery: the nearest place to eat is a 10 minute walk down the road ( an American style burger/BBQ cafe, lunch times only); there are good restaurants ( and a well stocked supermarket) in Mogan.

+ Fantastic location if you're wanting to be a bit on your own, but still close to amenities and beaches. The house has a relaxed vibe and semi-outdoor terras/patio really nice for breakfasts and dinners. We'd happily come back :)
