+ Hotel convenable sans plus. Manque une tête de lit et mur sale derrière le lit. Odeur de canalisation désagréable dans la salle de bain. Parking trop petit. Petit déjeuner très bien. Personnel agréable. Restaurant bon mais cher. Environnement très agréable.

A Wonderful Taste of Frace

+ Le Pavillon Bleu is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are simple, but very comfortable, (TV, Tea making and soon). The situation, nestling against Le Loiret. The restaurant is exceptional, everything beautifly prepared, and presented, with a splendid range of wines to accompany the dishes. The patron and his staff are friendly and so professional. Le Pavilion Bleu is one of our favourite places to stay. If you want a real taste of France, this hotel, and its restaurant , is for you. I cannon recommend it enough.

+ Le bâtiment est ravissant mais la partie hôtel vétuste. Pas d'accueil le dimanche. Lit confortable mais chambre non insonorisée. Petit déjeuner frugal où rien n'est fait maison. L'hotel semble le parent pauvre de cet établissement. Je n'ai pas tenté le restaurant, devant la prestation hôtelière.

+ What a lovely find. Just 10 mins from the motorway. This old building has huge rooms, bath /shower. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Lovely views of the lake with great walks after a long journey. However the best is left to last, the restaurant! If you want excellent food and a wine list to die for, this is for you. This is not a cheap restaurant but you will not be disappointed.

+ Amazing place. Right on River Loire. So pretty. We eat in the dining room it was absolutely gorgeous. Fine dining and staff were brilliant

+ Un hôtel authentique avec une histoire dans un cadre exceptionnel et à prix convenables. Le restaurant séduira les fins gourmets avec une cuisine raffinée et ses desserts imaginés avec goût. Ne surtout pas hésiter, il faut y aller! En plus le patron est sympathique!

+ Room overlooked the car park even though it was booked some months before. We could not have our evening meal on the veranda overlooking the river so went elsewhere and still a couple of tables free later in the evening.

Cadre somptueux

+ L’accueil a été plutôt désagréable, la personne que l’on a vu , non souriante et pas agréable. Le cadre au bord du Loiret , magnifique . Le chef cuisinier nous a agréablement surpris par son partage visuel et goûteux de ces plats. Le personnel du petit déjeuner, fort sympathique et des mots de gentillesse. Retourner y séjourner non ! Prendre un verre ou déjeuner ou dîner avec plaisir !

Disappointing experience in Olivet

+ Granted, the hotel is a lovely old lady situated on the canal with beautiful walking trails and away from the noise of the city. The hotel advertises their restaurant, posts a remarkable menu, and indicates dining is available 7 days a week. We arrived on Sunday, July 30, late in the afternoon and were told that the restaurant was not open that evening. We enquired about others options and received very little help except being told that there was a restaurant a few buildings down the street. It was also closed. When we returned to the foyer of Pavillon Bleu, we found it empty of staff and the open dining and bar area roped off, lights out. My husband made the mistake of stepping around the rope into the main entrance and promptly set of the security alarm. Still, no one arrived. We left the property in search of dinner, but feeling guilty, return to the hotel. The alarm was off, and still, no one around. Breakfast the next morning was served in the foyer of the bar and was adequate. We found that the Hotel lacked the “hospitality” that we have experienced all over France. It was a disappointing experience to say the least.

+ This is my second overnight visit prior to driving to the Channel Tunnel. My overall assessment is excellent. The location by the river, the high standard of the restaurant, both food, wine and service plus the high standard of room facilities is the reason for my assessment. Would recommend! Anthony Evans

+ Le charme de l’ancien mais nécessite une cohésion des voisins de chambre du fait que les portes sont bruyantes. Les premiers se réveillant très tôt on l’impression par moment d’avoir les voisins qui entrent dans notre chambre. Très bon confort par ailleurs. On n’a pas eu le temps de discuter plus longuement avec le personnel pour mieux connaître l’histoire de cet établissement qui doit être très riche d’anecdotes

+ Service et accueil de gamme supérieurs. Repas et service suptible et fin un bon moment dans un cadre magnifique. Bravo au chef, aux serveurs et au couple de patrons pour ce service et votre investissement.

+ Les chambres sont vastes et trés propres, les équipements modernes, le restaurant de haut niveau, le personnel efficace et souriant. La literie est de trés bonne qualité. On viendra dans cet hôtel pour son charme, et son environnement, en acceptant les petits travers des bâtisses historiques.(insonorisation, escalier un peu raide avec bagages)

Do not stay if hot weather

+ We had a room under the roof , terribly hot , no aircon , no fan provided and no moustique net at the windows so could not open these . No lift , No one at reception even though it was supposed to be manned at 8pm . Breakfast was not a buffet as shown on the photo , we had to share one boiled egg, when we asked for a second one as we are 2 it was not part of the deal… I would not recommend this hotel in the summer .

+ Confortable bed,nice restaurant by the river.

+ This property has great potential. Unfortunately the hotel has not had the same care and dedication shown as the restaurant. There is a lack of sound insulation, not enough staff on hand for check-in and check out, the rooms are OK but the bathrooms have chipped grout and black mould in places. Recommendation, eat at the restaurant and stay somewhere else.

3* hôtel

+ 3* hôtel. The room didn’t merit more than that, in common with other hotels, awful flat hard pillows, complimentary and not necessary mini bottles of shampoos but only one small water bottle. Michelin restaurant, very expensive,expect 100€ per person. The drain smell is strong. Beautifully situated by the river with lovely walks, but not far away is a hotel with very similar rooms and food but very much less expensive.

+ We had a excellent stay lovely room and the food was superb also staff very good we would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

+ Un charme fou au bord du Loiret, un service hôtelier impeccable, merci pour ce séjour relaxant bien que studieux.

+ Restaurant très agréable et joliment situé au bord de l'eau. Le bâtiment a du cachet et on peut balader à côté de l'hôtel au bord de l'eau.

+ Excellent accueil dans cet hôtel bien situé, un peu vieillissant et dans son jus mais très agréable. Son côté rétro sur le bord de l'eau lui donne tout son charme.

Bon séjour

+ Bonne nuit passée. Monsieur à l'accueil très sympathique et à l'écoute.

+ notre chambre à l'extérieur avec des escaliers dangereux pour des personnes de notre âge, pas de chance nous avons eu de fortes pluies torrentielles, impossible d'accéder à notre voiture avec une flaque d'eau arrivant au mollet !

+ Staff were very rushed and didn't have time to properly talk with you, felt transactional. Restaurant is a michelin restaurant. Food was very good, but portions maybe small if you have a large appetite. Room was comfy and clean. Parking was available, Nice location. wifi signal was weak. Overall I would recommend the hotel.
