Ensemble charmant et confortable permettant d'avoir accès au magnifique village en dehors des heures de flux touristiques. Room service efficace. Voiturier très serviable / gentil / efficace

Enjoyed our stay, but disappointed at prices - the room is already at a premium price

+ World class location - and that's what you are paying for. Room was really nice, couldn't be bettered, and the view from the bar and restaurant is breathtaking. Food and drink is excellent, and the hotel boasts a very impressive carte des vins. Staff are extremely polite and helpful - though they could check more frequently, perhaps, if more attention is required at the tables.... Be aware, however, that all extras are significantly overpriced - wine especially, food, cocktails, etc., If you eat and drink in the hotel while you are a guest, be prepared for a sizeable extra bill. In other hotels of this calibero - and even at a lower price - elsewhere in the world, things like having your towels made into a swan shape, with rose petals sprinkled on the bed come standard - Chateau Eza charges a huge premium - and I do mean huge - for such.

Bad customer service

+ I was very disappointed with our experience. We found a hair in the dessert, which is completely unacceptable. What made the situation even worse was how it was handled by the staff. The waiter did not apologize or show any concern. The dessert also wasn’t removed from the bill. It was only after I specifically asked for it to be removed that they offered just a 50% discount on the cake. Customer service is just as important as food quality, and in this case, both hygiene and the response to the issue fell far below expectations. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves both its food safety standards and the way customer complaints are handled.

One of the best views of the French Rivera!

+ A lovely place to stop for a drink. Yes you will pay around 10 euros for a beer or glass of wine but the service and view more than makes up for it. It is a truly special place as is the surrounding Eze. We would love to come here for dinner too. It is on our list of we return. Not to be missed!

Chateau Eza a wonderful retreat for couples

+ We had a wonderful stay! All of the staff were so helpful and friendly. You must enjoy the amazing Michelin Star cuisine. It was the experience of a lifetime.

To Château Eza: Formal Complaint Regarding Our Dining Experience at Château Eza

+ I am writing to share my disappointment with our recent dining experience at Château Eza in Èze, France. We chose this restaurant because of its Michelin recognition and spent approximately $1,200 USD for dinner for four people. Unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing meals we have ever had. The dinner lasted nearly four hours, and the pacing was so slow that it became exhausting rather than enjoyable. Even more disappointing was the food. Nearly every course lacked flavor and balance. The dishes were so elaborate that they no longer tasted like the quality ingredients they were supposed to showcase. The dessert even had a strong fish flavor, making it an unpleasant ending to the meal. We understand that taste is subjective, but this experience fell far below the standards we expected from a Michelin-recognized restaurant.

Stunning hotel

+ The location of the hotel is stunning. The staff throughout our stay were courteous and professional. Our room was excellent with a balcony that had fabulous views over St John and Villefranche. The food and wine at dinner were exceptional, as was the service. Overall, this hotel is worthy of being on everyones bucket list.

Historic hotel dramatically perched high above the Mediterranean

+ What a treat to spend 3 nights in this special place. We had asked for a room with a good view of the Mediterranean - and we got exactly that. Also we had a small balcony that we enjoyed, and the view from our shower must be the best shower view in the world - see pics below. Breakfast in the restaurant which holds one Michelin star was a treat with great croissants and more. Its not cheap to stay at Eza but it is a special treat. The room was old style European and the bathroom was totally modern. Perfect combination. Staff members were universally warm and helpful,

− Breakfast was awesome but they should include it in the rate rather than making it an extra - its not like there are many other options in the tiny village of Eze.

wonderful hilltop village with views not to miss

+ We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights; the location is priceless the views were out of this world. our room was fantastic with a view of the mountains and the sea, the room was clean and 5-star amenities, the bedding and the pillows were so comfy. the staff was so helpful and professional, and we couldn't ask for a better stay. it was our anniversary and they had a cake waiting for us inside our room. so thoughtful. there are 14 rooms and I'm sure everyone has its own charm. If you have issues with walking this hotel will not work for you, it's at the top of a hill with a lot of steps and climbing but if you are in good shape this hotel is not to miss. the village is wonderful with shops and spots to grab lunch, drinks etc. so unique and picture perfect.
