+ Really nice. Nice pool and outside area. Comfy bed and black out curtains.

− the air con wasn’t great and the room was quite hot , we asked to make it colder but even after the room was still really warm

Rigtig godt hotel tæt på station

+ Dejligt hotel 400 meter fra stationen. Pænt værelse med gode seng og fint badeværelse. Morgenmaden var rigtig god. Hyggeligt poolområde med servering. Blev ved ankomst til hotellet straks budt på koldt vand.

Nice stay close to the trainstation

+ Very welcoming and comfortable place close to the trainstation and still accessible to Barcelona sites.

− Contraté una habitación triple de luxe y nos dieron una habitación con dos camas y un catre. No quedaba lugar extra. No se pudo usar el placard ya que habían pegado el catre a la puerta

− Het hotel is aan een opfrisbeurt toe, vuile muren, Sierlijsren die half van de muren hangen, vloeren en plinten die verouderd en vuil zijn.

+ Das Hotel ist insgesamt wirklich sehr schön. Die Zimmer sind modern, sauber und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet – dort haben wir uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Leider gab es aber auch einige Punkte, die unseren Aufenthalt etwas getrübt haben. Unser Zimmer wurde nicht täglich gereinigt, was wir bei einem Hotel dieser Kategorie erwartet hätten. Außerdem schließt die Außenterrasse bereits um 23:00 Uhr. Ab etwa 23:15 Uhr bekommt man selbst in der Lobby keine Getränke mehr, sodass man den Abend im Hotel kaum noch gemütlich ausklingen lassen kann. Schade fanden wir auch die Regel am Pool, dass selbst kleine mitgebrachte Snacks wie Gummibärchen oder Chips nicht erlaubt sind. Man darf ausschließlich die Speisen und Getränke des Hotels verzehren. Da das Hotel allerdings gar keine Snacks anbietet, fanden wir diese Regel etwas unverständlich. Auch die Preise für Getränke empfanden wir als sehr hoch. Für eine 0,3-l-Cola wurden 4 € berechnet, was wir für die Größe recht teuer fanden. Insgesamt ist das Hotel optisch wirklich toll und die Zimmer sind ein großes Plus. Mit etwas mehr Service, faireren Preisen und etwas kundenfreundlicheren Regeln wäre der Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gewesen.

Muy frustrante y con una pésima gestión del service al cliente.

− From el principio tuve problemas porque al haber hecho la reserva por booking salía un precio pero al ampliar una persona más en la reserva no se ponían de acuerdo quién tenía que hacerla si booking o ellos. El personal de booking me dirigía al H10 Itaca y H10 Itaca a booking el precio lo confirmé con booking pero ellos pretendayn hacerme pagar más, llamadas, correos electrónicos, lamentable!!. En alguna ocasión cuando les dije que no era de recibo tanto trámite para algo tan sencillo, me hicieron saber que eso me había pasado por reservarlo con Booking y no directamente con ellos H10 Itaca. Al final se resolvió con Booking pero al ir a hacer el pago en el hotel pretendieron cobrar el importe de ellos 30€ más caro, tuve que reclamar en recepción y eso les llevó bastante tiempo, mientras tenían ellos mi DNI para hacer la reserva. Eso no fue todo, finalmente se quedaron por error con mi DNI en recepción y no supieron llamar a la habitación para devolverlo y para cuando me dí cuenta ya estaba en el aeropuerto cuando fui a facturar para coger mi vuelo (tenemos nuestro negocio en Lanzarote) Al llamarles, después de rebuscar en mi maleta y mi bolso, varias veces, me dijeron que ahí no estaba, No se molestaron mucho en el hotel, porque después de volver a asegurarme de que yo no lo tenía volví a llamar al hotel y finalmente sí lo tenían en recepción. Mi malestar fue en aumento cuando les pedí que asumieran su responsabilidad (todos podemos cometer errores) e hicieran algo por ayudarme y hacérmelo llegar al aeropuerto y se negaron. Tuve que mandar a un taxista de referencia que tenemos en Barcelona para que lo recogiera en el hotel y lo trajera al aeropuerto a tiempo de coger mi vuelo.

Overall Good, but not the best of the H10 chain

+ The staff are excellent. Very helpful, nice, and easy to communicate with. The location is also very good.

− The air conditioning didn't work properly. The room was humid / musty smelling and not very cool; the room hovered around 25c. Parts of the hotel are renovated; parts could do with a little love.

Excellent hotel

+ My husband and I recently stayed at Hotel Itaca for 4 nights whilst visiting Barcelona. I am so glad we chose this hotel as our stay here was excellent. From the moment we checked in all members of staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean and those beds and pillows were so comfy. The breakfast was lovely, and provided something for everyone. Really set us up for the day ahead. I can honestly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona. Hopefully we'll be booking in again ourselves in the not too distant future. Thank you Hotel Itaca for a wonderful stay.
