The main difference is noise: the center is lively in summer, while the peripheral developments are quieter but force you to move by car.

Before booking, check if the accommodation includes parking (in the center it is a serious problem), if air conditioning is included in the price, and if the kitchen is well equipped, because many apartments are advertised with misleading photos. Also check the real distance to the beach on a map, do not rely only on the description, and look at recent reviews about nighttime noise, especially in the buildings on the promenade.
