If you are looking at apartments on the Isla de Arosa, the first thing you should know is that the offer is concentrated in two clearly differentiated areas: the urban core of A Illa de Arousa, around the port and the main street, and the quieter area facing the southern and western beaches, such as Area da Secada or O Cabodeiro. In the center you will have supermarkets, a pharmacy, bars and access to the seafront promenade at hand, but also more noise in high season and difficult parking. If what you are looking for is rest, it is worth moving a little away from the bustle: the apartments next to the southern beaches usually have better views and more tranquility, although you will depend on the car to shop or go out for dinner. The island is small, about seven kilometers long, so no area is really far from anything, but the difference between waking up to the sound of the waves or to that of the terraces is notable.

Also check whether the final price includes bed linen and towels, or whether there is an extra charge for cleaning, something common in this type of accommodation.
