To get there, the most comfortable option is to fly to Sevilla or Faro (Portugal) and rent a car: from Sevilla it's about 90 minutes via the A-49, and from Faro a little over an hour. The bus from Huelva capital takes 30 minutes and costs about 2 euros, but it limits you if you stay in areas far from the centre. Within the town, the whole beach area can be covered on foot, but for the pinar or El Portil you need a car or a bicycle.

Before booking, check three things. First, whether the accommodation includes a parking space: in summer parking on the street is torture, and many apartments don't have it.
