Hotels and places to stay in Benasque

Benasque, in the heart of the Aragonese Pyrenees, is one of those places where accommodation makes quite a difference between a peaceful getaway and one that is not so peaceful. When it comes to choosing an area, you basically have two clear options: the urban core of Benasque or the surroundings, especially the road that goes up toward the Benasque valley and the access to the llanos del Hospital. There is also a bus from Huesca and Zaragoza, although with few frequencies, so if you don't have your own vehicle, plan the schedules well. Within the valley, getting around without a car is complicated, although in winter there is a shuttle bus service to Cerler from the village. Before booking, check whether the accommodation includes bed linen and towels, whether it allows free cancellation and whether it has heating or a fireplace, because in winter it is not a whim. It is also advisable to check whether there is parking, since in high season finding a spot on the street can be an impossible mission.
