   Your first stop is Cenote Azul, where you can cool off in its clear, open-air waters. Located right beside Bacalar Lagoon, this natural cenote offers a different way to experience the area’s landscape. After your swim, enjoy a delicious breakfast at a local restaurant just steps from the cenote, giving you time to relax and recharge before continuing your Bacalar experience.

2. Cenote Cocalitos · 2 h

   Enjoy free time at Cocalitos, a waterfront spot on the shores of Bacalar Lagoon, known for its stromatolites, ancient living formations that are an important part of the lagoon’s ecosystem. Take time to relax by the water, enjoy the club’s amenities, or cool off in the lagoon. You can also experience the famous hammocks and swings over the water, a popular way to enjoy the scenery and take photos. Whether you prefer to relax by the lagoon or learn more about its unique natural environment, Cocalitos gives you time to enjoy Bacalar at your own pace.

3. Bacalar · 2 h 30 min

   Take some time to explore Bacalar, a Pueblo Mágico known for its connection to the famous Bacalar Lagoon, local history, and relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy a walk through the town and take in some of its colorful streets and local surroundings. You’ll also have time to take a photo at Bacalar’s colorful town letters, a popular spot to capture a memory of your visit before continuing with the tour.

4. Fuerte San Felipe Bacalar

   Enjoy a panoramic view of the San Felipe Fortress, a historic landmark in Bacalar built to protect the town from pirate attacks during the colonial period. From the surrounding area, you can admire the fortress and enjoy views of Bacalar Lagoon, making this a great opportunity to take photos. You’ll also have some free time to walk through downtown Bacalar, explore the local streets, and enjoy the atmosphere of this historic Pueblo Mágico.
