1. Iskar · 1 h 30 min

   Transfer through Iskar gorge takes you to the small village of Zasele for stunning top-of the hill views over the valley, Iskar river and train line below.

2. 1 h

   A 30-minute walk to the famous Skaklia waterfall will reward you with freshness and beautiful views over the water cascades! A more relaxed option during this 1-hour stop is to enjoy a drink on a gorge valley terrace.

3. Cherepish Monastery · 1 h

   Your next 1-hour transfer from around 11:30 till 12:30 takes you deeper into the most beautiful part of Iskar gorge and to the charming 14-th century old Cherepish Monastery. During the 45-minute visit you will learn about Bulgarian Orthodox church and famous writers Ivan Vazov and Aleko Konstantinov and their inspiration by the Swiss-like charming nature of Iskar river gorge and Stara planina (Balkan mountain).

4. 2 h

   Enjoy a walk to the nearby natural phenomenon Ritlite or to explore ancient church ruins on the other side of the river.

5. Botevgrad · 2 h
