If you want to pay less, look at May, June or September: the weather is still good for the beach, but prices fall by up to 30% or 40%. To get there, the usual way is to drive along the A-48 from Cádiz or Algeciras; there are buses from Cádiz with several daily frequencies, but to get around the area (going to Zahara, la Breña or the cliffs) you will need a car, because public transport between towns is scarce. Before booking, check whether the apartment includes bed linen and towels, because some do not provide them, and confirm whether the final price includes cleaning or an energy supplement. Also look closely at the photos of the bathrooms and the kitchen: in this average category, there are big differences between them, and recent guest reviews will tell you more than the official description.
