The excursion

Day 1: Airport or Colombo – Sigiriya (overnight Sigiriya)
Day 2: Sigiriya Rock Fortress and Dambulla Cave Temple (overnight Sigiriya)
Day 3: Sigiriya – Kandy, Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, lake, viewpoint (overnight Kandy)
Day 4: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya, tea plantation and factory (overnight Nuwara Eliya)
Day 5: Scenic train from Nanu Oya to Ella (overnight Ella)
Day 6: Nine Arch Bridge, Little Adam’s Peak, Ravana Falls – Yala area (overnight Yala area)
Day 7: Optional Yala safari – Galle (overnight Galle)
