The excursion

Spend a full day riding through the vineyards of the Maipú Wine Route at your own pace, with a set itinerary and the visits already included. At the Maipu Bikes base you receive the bicycle, helmet and map; before you set off the team explains the route, gives you recommendations and helps you organise the day. The usual circuit is about 14 km, mostly flat: Maipu Bikes, Trapiche, Viña El Cerno, Mevi, Tempus Alba and back to Maipu Bikes. At Trapiche you explore the outside of the winery and the vineyard, enjoy a non-guided tasting of one glass of Lateral or another available wine and can visit the gift shop. At Viña El Cerno you join a guided visit of the winery followed by a wine tasting. At Mevi you sit down to a four-course lunch paired with wines, with a view of the vineyard and the Andes; vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available. At Tempus Alba you explore the winery on your own and get a 15% discount at the food truck. Back at the base you return the bike and finish the day with the happy hour with free Malbec, usually between 16:30 and 18:00, meeting travellers from all over the world. The ride is self-guided: no guide rides with you; the guided visit applies only to Viña El Cerno. The circuit combines local streets and bike lanes next to roads with traffic, so you need to ride confidently. If a winery is closed or changes its hours, the order may change or a stop may be replaced by an available alternative. Price per person.
A full self-guided day by bike on the Maipú Wine Route: Trapiche, a guided visit and tasting at Viña El Cerno, a four-course lunch with wines at Mevi, Tempus Alba and a free Malbec happy hour.
