The excursion

Travel with your own English-speaking driver and set the pace yourself. In Old Tbilisi you walk cobbled streets with wooden balconies and courtyards and see the Abanotubani sulphur baths. The Chronicles of Georgia, huge stone columns telling the history of the country, overlook the Tbilisi Sea. Sameba, the Holy Trinity Cathedral, is one of the largest Orthodox cathedrals with its golden dome. After lunch you continue to Mtskheta and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral with its medieval frescoes. All stops are free. A licensed English-speaking guide can join you in the car for an extra EUR 70 per tour (book it in advance). Price for the whole car.
