Arinaga, in the southeast of Gran Canaria, is a destination that often goes unnoticed compared to Maspalomas or Las Palmas, but it has its own character. If you're looking for quiet accommodation, close to the sea and with more moderate prices than in the tourist south, here you'll find 94 options to choose from. The average price is around 112 euros per night, although you can find something from 70 euros if you book in advance or outside high season. To decide where to stay, first think about what type of trip you're going to take. The area of the promenade and the surroundings of Arinaga beach is the most practical if you want to swim and stroll without depending on a car. Several apartments with ocean views are concentrated there, such as the Apartamento Allegra or Sol y mar, and the atmosphere is livelier, with bars and restaurants nearby. If you prefer silence and a bit more space, the interior streets of the town, especially towards the La Vega neighborhood or the main road, offer holiday homes and larger apartments, although you'll have to walk about ten minutes to the coast. Before booking, check if the accommodation includes a full kitchen, because many apartments have one and that saves you from eating out every day. Also check if there's an elevator, since several buildings are three or four stories without a lift, and confirm if the price includes final cleaning or towels, because it's not always included.
