A Day at the Island of Reefs

Stretching over twenty kilometers south of Rangiroa island, this coral formation also called "FEO" in "Paumotu" (Tuamotu language) is also important and exceptional, because it serves as a barrier against the strong southern winter swell, thus slowing down the erosion of our "motu" (islets).

This unique and impressive landscape transports us to the stars with its craters that look as if they were formed by meteorite impacts, thus creating natural basins filled with crystal-clear water.

Itinerary

1. Rangiroa

   Transfer from 8:30 am from your accommodation. 9:00 a.m. departure from the College Marina of Rangiroa.

2. Tiputa

   9.15 a.m. Dolphin watching at the Tiputa pass. 9:45 a.m. Departure for the island of reefs (1 hour of navigation)

3. Ile aux Recifs · 6 h

   10:45 a.m. Arrival at the reef island, small snack 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Visit of the "FEOs", snorkeling in the small coral garden 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Aperitif, lunch and weaving demonstration 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Free time, idleness. 3:45 p.m. Snorkling at the “Motu naonao” aquarium 4:30 p.m. Arrival at the Marina, transfer to your accommodation
