Getting there is easy: the nearest airport is Alicante-Elche, about 80 kilometres away, and you can also fly to Valencia, about 120. In both cases you will need a rental car, because public transport within Benissa is scarce and the villas are usually spread out. Before booking, check whether the accommodation includes air conditioning, because many old houses do not have it, and confirm whether the pool is private or shared. Also look at the exact distance to the beach, because “sea views” does not mean you can walk there, and check the cancellation policies, which vary greatly between owners.
