Data Deletion — HotelsCasa
Last updated: August 16, 2026
In summary: write to [email protected] from the address you registered with, with the subject “Data Deletion”. We process it within a maximum of 30 days and confirm it to you in writing once it is done.
1. What is deleted
When processing your request, we delete from our systems:
- Your user account and profile data: name, phone number, email address, and photograph.
- The listings you have published —accommodations or vehicles— along with their photographs, prices, and calendars.
- Your messages with hosts or guests within the platform.
- Your preferences, favorites, and browsing history associated with the account.
- The social media access permissions you granted us to post on your behalf.
2. What we are required to retain
The law prevents us from deleting everything immediately. If you have made or received any paid booking, the information from that transaction —amount, dates, invoice, and identification of the parties— must be retained for six years under Spanish commercial and tax regulations.
That data is blocked: it is removed from the platform, ceases to be used for any purpose, and remains only at the disposal of the Administration during that period. Once it expires, it is destroyed.
3. How to request it
By email
Write to [email protected]from the same address you registered with and indicate “Data Deletion” in the subject line. If you write from another address, we will need to verify your identity before proceeding, and the process will take longer.
You do not need to explain the reason: it is a right and is not subject to justification.
If you signed in with Facebook
If you accessed HotelsCasa using your Facebook account or connected your profiles to publish listings, it is advisable to do both of the following:
- Remove the permission from Facebook: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, find HotelsCasa, and delete it. This cuts off access immediately.
- And also send us the request by email, so that we delete what is already stored on our servers as well. Removing the permission on Facebook prevents new access but does not, by itself, delete previous data.
4. Deadline and confirmation
We process the request within a maximum of 30 calendar days from receipt. Once completed, we confirm it to you in writing, detailing what has been deleted and what has been blocked due to legal obligation.
Deletion is irreversible: we will not be able to recover your listings, your reviews, or your history. If you only want to stop receiving communications, there is no need to delete your account — simply unsubscribe using the link included in each email.
5. If you are not satisfied
You can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es). Your other rights and details on how we handle information are outlined in the Privacy Policy.
