Intellectual Property Notice — HotelsCasa
Last updated: August 16, 2026
Have you seen your content published here without permission? Write to [email protected] with the subject line “Intellectual Property” and the details from point 4. We remove the content as a precautionary measure once we verify the communication, without discussing the merits and at no cost to you.
1. Ownership
The HotelsCasa brand, the platform design, its own texts, code, and databases belong to the site owner and are protected by intellectual and industrial property regulations. Their use does not authorize reproduction or exploitation.
2. Content published by hosts
The photographs, descriptions, and prices of each listing are provided by the person who publishes them. By publishing them, that person declares that they hold the necessary rights and grants us a non-exclusive, free license limited to displaying that material on the platform and in the promotion of their own listing, including our social media.
The publisher is responsible for what they publish. If a third party claims against content, the uploader assumes the claim and holds us harmless from it, including defense costs.
3. Listings created from public information
Part of the catalog starts with listings created from publicly accessible information until the accommodation owner takes control of their listing. These listings are published for informational and reference purposes.
If you are the owner of an accommodation or of material included in one of these listings and do not want it to appear, just let us know. You do not need to prove anything beyond your identity: it will be removed. We do not require a judicial resolution or additional justification for removal.
4. How to report an infringement
To enable us to act immediately, include in your communication:
- Your name or company name, and a contact method.
- The exact address (URL) of the page where the content is located, and which specific element it is—what photograph, what paragraph.
- The basis for claiming that you are the owner or their representative.
- A statement that you are acting in good faith and that the information you provide is true.
Without the exact address, we cannot locate the content, and removal is delayed. This is the most frequently missing piece of data.
5. What we do upon receipt
- We acknowledge receipt.
- We remove or block the content as a precautionary measure, without assessing who is right.
- We inform the publisher, indicating the reason.
- We keep an internal record of the communication, the date, and the action taken.
Precautionary removal does not imply admission of any infringement: it is the diligent way to act while the matter is clarified.
6. If you believe the removal was an error
The person who published the content can respond by providing proof that they hold the rights—authorship, license, contract, or photographer’s invoice. If they provide it, the content is restored and the claimant is informed. If they do not, it remains removed.
7. Repeat offenses
Accounts that repeatedly publish third-party content will be suspended or closed, and their listings removed, without right to compensation. Financial obligations already accrued—confirmed bookings, pending commissions—are settled normally.
8. Third-party trademarks and links
The names and logos of third parties appearing on the platform belong to their owners and are used solely to identify their services. Their presence does not imply affiliation or sponsorship. Outbound links do not make us liable for the destination content.
9. Use of our content by third parties
Reproducing, systematically extracting, or reusing the platform’s content and database—including automated extraction—is not permitted without written authorization. This prohibition expressly extends to collection for training artificial intelligence models.
Normal browsing of the site by search engines and assistants that cite the source and link to the original is permitted: we want to be found.
Use licence. Anyone who copies or reuses HotelsCasa images, texts, listings or data without written authorisation owes the licence fee: €1,000 per item, plus the compensation and legal action that apply. Our images carry marks that identify to whom each copy was delivered. Full terms: Content Use Licence.
10. Applicable legislation
This notice is governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the courts and tribunals competent under the law shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the consumer’s legal venue when the other party has that status.
The rest of the conditions are in the General Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy.
