What we check before you get in, what you see during the trip, and where to write if something goes wrong.
Before the car arrives
- The driver is registered with us and their documents are checked before they receive a single trip: driving license, insurance, and vehicle registration. Transport license, where required by their country.
- Each driver goes through identity verification: they photograph their driver's license and take a selfie. Those who pass appear with their badge on the list of drivers in your city.
- You know who's picking you up before they arrive: driver's name, car, and license plate via SMS.
During the trip
- See the car approaching on the map, with a link that opens without installing anything or logging into any account.
- Call the driver with a tap from that link, without going through a switchboard and without their number being displayed on any screen.
- The price is set before you get in: no money talk inside the car, and no cash needed.
- The trip link expires two hours after it ends. An SMS stays forever on a phone that can be lost, and with it, no one's name can be taken away.
If something goes wrong
Write to us at [email protected] with the trip reference —it starts with TX and is in the SMS and on the tracking screen—. With that reference, we can see who was driving, in which car, and at what time, so you don't need to remember it.
- Any issue with the driver or the car is reviewed and addressed. If needed, the driver stops receiving rides while it's being sorted out.
- If the trip didn't happen, you're not charged: the amount was only held and is fully released.
- In an emergency, contact your country's emergency services first. We don't replace the police or an ambulance, and saying otherwise would be a lie.
What we still DON'T have
We say this here so no one expects it: there's no emergency button on the screen, no pickup code, and the phone number isn't hidden behind an intermediary. We'll announce it when it exists, not before.
